Stored and Restored is about giving antiques and vintage items a new life & finding them a new home! Then if we didn't have room for it, Sell it!

Stored and Restored was born when my husband and I decided we didn't need to "Store" stuff any longer, but instead, pull it out from being "Stored" and "Restore" it!. I've been storing stuff for some time now, as I have always had a love for Antiques. And I have always wanted to salvage any old piece of junk that I found....but I can only keep so much, so it's time to Restore it and let someone else enjoy it! If you're looking for something special, be sure to check with me as I just might have it, and it's not been Restored yet. Through the process of creating Stored and Restored I would also like to be an encouragement to others. There will be days or weeks when I'm not restoring a piece of furniture, but maybe I can Restore someone emotionally through some kind words or a photo. Thank you for following along with me.

I picked up my new sunglasses today! They are prescription and I went a little retro with my frames, they remind me of my Grandaddy & Dad’s frames from the late 50’s, early 60’s. What do you think?

Happy Halloween! 🎃 🤡 👻 Kids will be kids! And these girls were bored one summer afternoon and got permission from their Mom to grab some of Dad’s clothes and Mom’s makeup and they made themselves into Clowns for the Day! Mom thought we were so cute she took our picture! Yep, that’s me in the middle, my sister Trish on the left, Kathie on the right! Our oldest sister Frances was probably at her summer job. I remember this being a fun afternoon! Wishing the kiddos a Fun and Happy Halloween today! Go create some fun memories!

Happy Saturday! This very old Germany made set of Church Choir Angels and organist arrived in my locked cabinet in my booth this week! I had never seen any like these before I acquired them. What a gorgeous vintage (almost antique) items to add to your Christmas collection! These could display all year long too!

Today, it’s been 3 years and 6 months since Shorty went to Heaven. ❤️ It was not intentional but today I had a craving for KFC Chicken Tenders! 🤷‍♀️ So I leaned into that craving and went to the KFC that Shorty and I frequented. So as I ate lunch alone today, I’m thinking about all the times we had KFC during the week or on Sunday after church. And if you knew Shorty, we always talked to others at KFC and I have several friends that follow me on here, because of us meeting at KFC. ❤️ I’m sure when they read this post, they’ll remember too. And I had forgotten how good the KFC chicken tenders were! Happy Friday!

I see a lot of social media resellers doing “flat lays” with their items they have listed for sale in their online shops. Well, this is my flat lay, but it’s actually a view from above in my booth! These crystal pieces are gorgeous directly from above and facing them straight on! See my next post for the straight on photo of these same items!
