We Create {DIY} Happiness
THE BOARD BAR | WE CREATE {DIY} HAPPINESS offers Drop-In & DIY open sessions (walk-in) as well as scheduled DIY workshops. During open studio hours, you are welcome to drop-in or reserve a semi-private (table reservation) workshop. We have a variety of trendy DIY projects; wood, candles, canvas, silk, glass and more!
Located on North Kentucky Street in the heart of downtown McKinney, THE BOARD BAR | WE CREATE {DIY} HAPPINESS is next to our sister studio, Walls of Clay, a paint-your-own-pottery studio. We have called North Kentucky Street our home for a dozen plus years and think of ourselves as the creative | DIY niche in McKinney and North Texas; offering pottery, glass fusing, wood & canvas home decor, water marbling on silk, candles and so much more.
Our DIY love affair started many years ago – long before “DIY” became a household acronym. Creativity runs wildly through our veins along with the desire to bring DIY happiness and success to as many people as possible. It’s not just about providing the space, supplies, and instruction to create a product. But more importantly, our love of DIY has evolved into providing a social-creative experience with the bonus of an awesome hand-crafted product. It’s about supporting local businesses, creating jobs and bringing people together for a creative escape; even if only for a few hours.
THE BOARD BAR is a DIY studio for adult makery & merriment. We are excited to be the first in our area to provide this kind of DIY experience. We can’t wait to meet you!
