The creative process is shaped by the exchange of ideas, experiences, and expertise throughout a project.

In this edition of Insights by Design, Associate Principal and Director of Project Management Amy Bowdre, RID, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, explores how different experiences and creative perspectives influence the interior design process.

From working through creative differences to refining concepts through team design charrettes, Amy shares how collaboration encourages designers to challenge their thinking, develop their skills, and create more thoughtful solutions for clients.

Back on the sand with CBA! Our team had a great time at this year’s CBA Volleyball Challenge, connecting with industry peers and enjoying a little friendly competition while supporting the meaningful work of Austin Angels and Wonders & Worries.

55Seventy is getting closer to its reveal.

With construction expected to wrap up over the next couple of months, we’re sharing a few more glimpses of this Houston private w**e club through renderings and visualizations. From the sculptural artwork upon approach to the softly lit arrival area, there’s plenty to look forward to.

A special thank you to Jonathan Williams of Outdoor Practice, our landscape architecture partner, for sharing these renderings and helping bring the vision to life.

We can’t wait to trade these previews for an in-person view. Stay tuned!

We love seeing our teams in their element!

Samples spread out, ideas shared, and an eye for every detail as a material palette takes shape.

10/15/2026

Strong collaboration starts within the team and extends throughout the project.

Within the design team, sharing perspectives, challenging ideas, and drawing on different areas of expertise helps shape a stronger direction.

As the project moves forward, that same collaborative approach extends to consultants, contractors, and other partners who help carry the vision through.

Through consistent communication, design reviews, coordination meetings, and site walks, the team continues working together to solve challenges, refine ideas, and strengthen the final solution.

10/14/2026

Strong ideas become stronger when more perspectives are brought to the table.

Design is a collaborative process. From early conversations and space planning to material selections and the details that shape the final experience, each team member brings a different perspective, area of expertise, and way of thinking to the process.

By sharing ideas, challenging assumptions, and building on one another’s strengths, an individual’s ideas become something the entire team helps shape.

Different perspectives. One shared vision.
