Happy Halloween from all of us at Precis! 🎃

This week our Fun Committee turned lunch into a Halloween celebration.

Our Pumpkin Carving Contest brought out some creative designs. Congratulations to Marissa Grela for taking home the top prize with her Tinkerbell pumpkin.

Several departments sent a representative to our (very sanitary) Apple Bobbing Competition. Congrats to Sean Oh for winning a free lunch for the Automation team.

Between a potluck with dishes from across the office and a basketball shooting competition (won by Amanda Zenstein with a score of 71), it made for a fun lunch hour.

Thank you to our Fun Committee for organizing a day of food, friendly competition, and fun. Moments like these are a big part of what makes Precis a great place to work.

Confession: we have zero photos from the Page to Broadway Gala. We were too busy enjoying the evening (and maybe the dance floor) to remember our phones. 💃

What we do have is a lot of respect for what the North Wales Area Library is building. Nearly half of the library’s operating budget comes directly from community campaigns, donations, and events like this one. This year’s support will go toward replacing aging shelves, growing the book collection, and adding staff to keep up with booming attendance. 📚

We were proud to be a sponsor and to help a place that brings so many people together. Thank you for a great night. Next year, we’ll try to assign someone to photo duty.

Katherine Insinga, Senior Project Manager at Precis, will be at Delaware Bio's Inspiring Women in STEM Conference on Oct. 29 at the University of Delaware's Clayton Hall.

Now in its 13th year, the conference brings together scientists, engineers, researchers, educators, and students from across the region for a day of workshops and conversations on leadership, communication, and building connections across STEM.

Katherine leads on-site project management and ex*****on for our life sciences clients. If you'll be there, she'd be glad to connect.

Thank you to the Regional Biotechnology Conference for another great event as it celebrated its 20th anniversary!

Precis Project Executive Jaime Leite, CEM, LEED AP BD+C, attended the conference and heard from former Johnson & Johnson Chairman and CEO Alex Gorsky during the morning session.

Join us in welcoming Ed Richert, PE, LEED AP to Precis as Director -- Engineering Services at our Cary, NC office!

Ed brings more than 30 years of pharmaceutical and biotechnology facility design and operations experience, with perspective from both the owner/client and consulting engineering sides of the industry. He serves as a technical resource to staff across all Precis disciplines, supports new business development, and oversees project deliverable quality.

Josh Hirshenhorn, Precis' Director of Business Development, will be at the Philadelphia Business Journal's State of the Biotech Industry event on Oct. 22.

This year's panel, moderated by John George, brings together Jeff Marrazzo, Bill Sibold, David Weiner, and Gwen Binder to talk about where the region's life sciences sector stands, including access to capital, federal research funding, and the cost of advanced therapies.

Precis was proud to support the 7th Annual ACE Mentor Program of Greater Philadelphia Golf Outing at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale! ⛳

ACE introduces high school students to careers in architecture, construction, and engineering, pairing them with industry mentors who help bridge the skills gap and open doors to exciting futures. It was a great day on the course supporting that mission and catching up with friends from across the industry.
