🎁 Need an easy crowd-pleaser for your holiday spread? Holiday snack mixes are great for Christmas movie nights, festive potlucks, party tables, and edible gifts for friends and neighbors.
Ingredients
🎁 Hot Buttered Cheerios
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon table salt
½ cup salted butter, sliced
1 ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
4 cups Cheerios cereal
🎁 White Trash Snack Mix
2 cups Corn CHEX cereal
2 cups Cheerios cereal
2 cups mini pretzel twists
1 cup dry roasted salted peanuts
2 to 2 ½ cups regular M&M’s candies, divided (2 cups for the mixture and up to ½ cup for garnish)
24 ounces vanilla almond bark candy coating
🎁 Slow Cooker Chex Mix
4 cups rice Chex cereal
3 cups corn Chex cereal
2 cups wheat Chex cereal
2 cups pretzels
2 cups bagel chips
1 cup Bugles
1 cup peanuts
10 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2½ teaspoons seasoned salt
1¼ teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
🎁 Butterfinger Puppy Chow
7 cups Rice Chex Cereal, or store brand version
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
½ cup creamy peanut butter
¼ cup salted butter
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
18 fun size Butterfinger candy bars, 15 crushed and 3 roughly chopped for garnish
1 ¼ cup powdered sugar, sifted
🎁 Christmas Chex Mix
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
2 cups Bugles brand snack chips
2 cups sourdough pretzel nibblers, Snyders of Hanover brand
10 ounces white chocolate candy melts, Ghirardelli brand used
1 ¼ cups mini m&m’s candies, Christmas red and green variety
22 Starlight peppermint candies, unwrapped and finely crushed (yields approximately ½ cup)
2 tablespoons nonpareil sprinkles, red, white and green holiday blend (plus additional for optional garnish)
🎁 Puppy Chow
10 cups rice Chex, or generic version
1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¾ cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
🎁 Butter Toffee Pretzels
15 ounces tiny pretzel twists
1 cup brown sugar, light or dark
1 stick unsalted butter, cut into pats (½ cup)
⅓ cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
8 ounces Heath English toffee bits (one 8-ounce package)
🎁 Churro Chex Mix
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
6 cups rice Chex brand cereal
3 cups corn Chex brand cereal
2 cups pretzel sticks (if longer than 2-inches, break in half before adding)
1 cup salted butter, melted
⅓ cup light brown sugar, packed
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
24 pieces Kraft brand caramels, unwrapped and cut into quarters (approximately 1 cup)
