1985: Shoulder pads were architectural. Wallpaper went on top of more wallpaper. Miami was pastel. And a designer and a CPA decided to start a design firm together.

Forty years later, Marc Thee and Michael Abbott’s idea has grown into Marc-Michaels. We’ve retired the shoulder pads, but never the bold mix.
