I tend to get sucked into the details on Cardinals. It's always a choice of how much more time can I really put into this? And then I do it anyway lol

Putting some faces on these Cardinals. Is it just me or do Cardinals just inherently look angry? Lol. Don't forget to come out First Monday in Weatherford tomorrow!

The holidays are on their way! Neat thing about the Eastern Red Cedar I work with, is that the heartwood is more purple than red when fresh cut. However, it soon oxidizes and turns red by the time the finish is applied.
Thanks for looking!

It's downright chilly this morning! Unfortunately, this angel I was working on yesterday broke a wing. It really sucks when you're almost finished, and something breaks. Alas, I'll just have to set it aside and fix it later. The only true fix would be to remove the back, replace with new wood, and recarve it.
