Y’all… a lady came into Fabulous Finds and found her GRANDPARENTS. 😳❤️
And yes, there’s a story!
I’ve had these two beautiful, custom-framed portraits of a man and a woman for years. I honestly can’t remember exactly where I got them—possibly from an art studio I bought out more than ten years ago.
I hadn’t found just the right spot for them, so I tucked them into a back corner of the store. Apparently, I was waiting for the right CUSTOMER. 😂
This lady was shopping when she spotted the man’s portrait and thought, “That’s my grandpa!” Then she looked at the other one…
“And that’s my grandma!”
Next thing I know, she’s standing at my counter holding both portraits, telling me her grandparents had them done while they were on vacation! Meanwhile, she’s messaging family members, trying to figure out how Grandma and Grandpa ended up shopping with ME. 🤣
Now, I knew these portraits had a story. I just never expected somebody to walk in who could tell me part of it!
And yes… Grandma and Grandpa went home with their granddaughter. Together. Right where they belong. ❤️
Of course I had to get a picture, because you cannot make this stuff up!
Some days we sell furniture. Some days we sell vintage treasures. And apparently, some days we reunite families. 🥹
