K9 Kindergarten LLC K9 Kindergarten was founded in 2007 by IACP Pro Master Trainer David Wilkins, with over 35 years of experience in canine behavior.

We offer advanced obedience training with a 100% lifetime guarantee. Our focus is training both the dog and the pet parent. My profession started out about 32 years ago as a hobby. I enjoyed working with dogs so I started training with working dogs with gun dog training. I then realized that people needed help with there pets in the home and started K9 Kindergarten LLC in 2007. I have become an IACP Professional Training and enjoy teaching pets and their owners.

🐾❤️ MEET ODIN — A SPECIAL BOY LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Hey everyone! My name is Odin, and I'm hoping you'll help me find my happily ever after! 🏡🐕

I'm a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd with BIG ears, a BIG personality, and an even BIGGER heart! I'm smart, athletic, playful, and full of energy. I love playing fetch, running around, learning new things, and making people smile! 🥰

❤️ MY STORY HASN'T BEEN THE EASIEST...

About six months ago, I thought I had found my forever home. Unfortunately, things didn't work out, and I ended up back at Macomb County Animal Control.

Being back at the shelter was overwhelming for me. With all the noise, excitement, and unfamiliar surroundings, I had a hard time settling down. I was also a bit of a flight risk and didn't always think listening to people was necessary! 🤣

But the wonderful people at Macomb County Animal Control saw something special in me and decided I deserved another chance.

That's when my journey with K9 Kindergarten began! 🐾

My foster trainer, David, has been working with me, teaching me that listening, having structure, and following commands can actually be FUN!

And guess what? I've successfully completed K9 Kindergarten's advanced off-leash obedience training! 🎓🐕

I've come such a long way! I now enjoy off-leash play in a supervised setting, listen to my commands, and have even made some doggy friends along the way!

I'm still a young German Shepherd with plenty of energy, curiosity, and a little mischievous personality. But that's part of what makes me, ME! ❤️

🐾 A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME:

✅ 1-year-old male German Shepherd

✅ Neutered and up to date on vaccinations

✅ Completed advanced off-leash obedience training

✅ Smart, athletic, playful, and eager to learn

✅ Loves fetch, exercise, and outdoor adventures

✅ Enjoys playing with other dogs when properly matched

✅ Needs continued training, structure, and consistency

🏡 SO, WHAT KIND OF FAMILY AM I LOOKING FOR?

I'm searching for an active, loving family who understands German Shepherds or other working breeds.

I would LOVE someone who enjoys hiking, walking, playing outdoors, and keeping me mentally and physically active. I'm not the kind of guy who wants to sit around all day watching TV. I want to be part of your adventures!

My ideal home would have:

🐾 Adults or mature teenagers who understand energetic dogs.

🐾 Experience with German Shepherds or other working breeds.

🐾 A cat-free environment.

🐾 Possibly another playful dog of similar size, with proper introductions.

🐾 A commitment to continuing my training and giving me the exercise, routine, and guidance I need.

I don't need someone to start my training from scratch. I need someone willing to continue all the hard work I've already put in! ❤️

🐕 HERE'S THE MOST IMPORTANT PART...

I may not have had the easiest start, and I may not be the right dog for every family. But with the right people, I have the potential to be an incredible companion.

I'm loyal, intelligent, affectionate, and ready to give my whole heart to someone who believes in me.

My foster trainer has helped me become a better version of myself. Now I'm ready for the next chapter — a family of my very own!

❤️ COULD YOU BE MY PERSON? ❤️

I'm currently being cared for by my foster trainer and am available for adoption through Macomb County Animal Control (MCAC).

If you're interested in meeting me, please apply through Macomb County Animal Control.

🙏 AND PLEASE, PLEASE SHARE MY STORY!

Even if I'm not the right dog for you, someone on your friends list might be exactly the person I've been waiting for.

I've already been given a second chance. Now all I need is a forever home to make my story complete. 🏡❤️

Love, Odin 🐾

P.S. My ears are big enough to hear you opening a treat bag from across the house, so you won't be sneaking snacks past me! 🤣❤️

🐾 Hey everyone, I’m Odin! Big ears, big heart, and ready for my forever adventure! ❤️

I’m a 1-year-old German Shepherd who LOVES fetch! I’m smart, athletic, and eager to learn. After my previous adoption didn’t work out, I’m getting individual attention from my foster trainer, building confidence and learning every day.

My ideal home includes:
🏡 Active, working-breed experienced adults and mature teens.
🎾 Plenty of exercise, routine, and continued training.
🐶 A similar-size, tolerant, playful dog could be a match!
🐱 No cats, please.

I’m neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative!

Apply through Macomb County Animal Control. Approved applicants can meet me at my foster trainer’s location, and MCAC will continue supporting my training.

💕 I don’t need a perfect family—just the right one. Please share to help me find my people!
