Green leaves can hide a serious tree problem. 🌳

A full canopy doesn’t tell you what’s happening at the base. Hidden decay can weaken a tree while its leaves and branches still catch the wind putting your home and property at risk. 🏡

🌳 MEET THE OG CREW. 💪

These aren’t just the guys who show up to get the job done. These are the men who helped build Kertz Tree Service into what it is today.

And as an owner, I couldn’t be more proud.

One thing I’ve learned is that you can build a company with equipment, but you build a reputation with people.

The loyalty, work ethic, integrity, and genuine brotherhood these guys share is something I’ll never take for granted.

Because when you invite us onto your property, you’re trusting us with more than just your trees. You’re trusting us with your home, your family, and something you’ve worked hard to build. 🤝

Our goal isn’t to earn your business once. It’s to earn your trust for a lifetime.

I want the same familiar faces showing up year after year, delivering the same quality, integrity, and care. And one day, I hope my son gets to serve the same families we’re serving today.

To my crew, thank you for everything you do and the standards you uphold every single day.

We’re not just building a tree service. We’re building a family. ❤️

KERTZ STRONG. 💪🌳

Building more than a tree service. We’re building character, integrity, and the next generation of hardworking men.

Meet Henry. At just 12 years old, he’s already one of the hardest workers you’ll meet.

Early mornings. Long days. No complaining. Just showing up, putting in the work, and getting after it.

As a father, there’s something special about watching your son grow alongside a business you once only dreamed of building.

But at Kertz Tree Service, that same pride extends beyond family.

We believe our responsibility goes further than taking care of trees. It’s about investing in our people, helping them grow, and building a team that carries those same values into the communities we serve.

Because when you build people with integrity, discipline, and a strong work ethic, you’re not just building a better company. You’re building a stronger community.

And watching Henry grow into the young man he’s becoming? That’s a win bigger than any job we’ll ever complete. 💪

Good people. Strong values. Quality work.

🌳 If you want a crew that brings integrity, professionalism, and genuine care to your property, we’d be honored to earn your trust.

🌳 What if the trees that have been part of your family’s story could become part of its future?

One of the hardest parts of what we do at Kertz Tree Service is that we’re always taking something away.

Trees that have stood for 50, 100, sometimes even 150 years. Trees that have been part of someone’s property for generations.

And I’ve always thought… what if we could give those trees a second life? 🪵

That’s exactly what we’re working toward with our sawmill and our good friend Jonathan at Central Midwest Timber Framing.

Taking timber that might otherwise become firewood or end up in a burn pile and transforming it into something meaningful.

A beautiful pavilion. A timber-frame structure. A place where families can gather, share stories, and make memories for generations to come. ❤️

Jonathan has a saying I absolutely love:

“A building that will outlast a mortgage.”

And that really hits home for me.

As a father and business owner, I’ve always wanted to build something bigger than myself. Something I can drive past with my kids one day and proudly say, “We built that.”

But what’s even more special is knowing that another family might be making memories under the very same tree their grandparents once played beneath.

That’s not just recycling wood. That’s preserving a legacy.

And the thought of taking a tree that’s already lived 100 years and giving it another 100 years of purpose is something I’m genuinely excited about.

🌳 Your trees. Your property. Your family’s history. A whole new chapter.

If you have trees on your property that need to come down, or you’ve ever dreamed of turning your own timber into a beautiful, lasting structure, we’d love to talk about what’s possible.

📞 Give us a call at 636-730-0577.

Let’s build something your family can enjoy for generations to come.

🌳 That tree hanging over your roof? Winter isn’t going to make it any safer.

With colder weather approaching, now is the time to be proactive about trees and overhanging limbs that could pose a risk to your home.

❄️ Snow and ice can add significant weight to already compromised limbs, increasing the risk of breakage and potentially causing thousands of dollars in property damage.

We’re not here to sell fear. We’re here to help our community stay informed and prepared.

💪 As you can see here, Gavin is carefully working his way down a tree leaning directly over a homeowner’s roof.

Technical removals like these require precision, proper equipment, and a crew that knows exactly what they’re doing.

With over 10 years of experience, our team understands what it takes to get the job done safely and efficiently.

🏡 Your home is one of your biggest investments. Protecting it starts with being proactive, not reactive.

If you have a tree or overhanging limbs that concern you, don’t wait until the next winter storm to have them evaluated.

📞 Call Kertz Tree Service at 636-730-0577.

🌳 Professional. Experienced. Committed to safety.

🌳 When a tree leans over your house, you want more than someone who knows how to run a saw.

You want a crew that knows how to work together.

🛠️ Our OG CREW brings 27 years of combined crew experience to jobs like this one in Innsbrook and that’s before counting mine.

That experience shapes how we plan the job, handle the rigging, and work as a team.

✅ Your home matters to you. The crew you trust around it should, too.

📞 If experience and safety matter to you, give us a call at 636-730-0577.

This aerial shot tells the story better than words ever could. 🌳🏠

From the ground, this tree still had a full, green canopy and appeared relatively healthy. But its major lean directly over the home and through the deck area was enough for these homeowners to take action before it became a much bigger problem.

Once we worked our way down, we discovered rot beginning near the base of the trunk. What looked healthy above was telling a very different story below.

That proactive decision may have prevented tens of thousands of dollars in potential property damage.

With the location of this tree, this wasn’t a simple removal. It required technical climbing, controlled cuts, precise rigging, and a ground crew working together every step of the way. Our head climber, Gavin, handled the climb while the rest of the crew helped make sure every piece came down safely and exactly where intended. 🪢🪚

And with fall here and winter right around the corner, now is the time to pay attention to questionable trees. Cold temperatures, winter weather, snow, and added weight on compromised limbs can expose weaknesses that may not be obvious today. ❄️

If a tree leaning toward your home is already costing you peace of mind, don’t wait for a winter storm to make the decision for you.

Let the Kertz Tree Service crew take a look and walk you through your options.
