⛈️ SEVERE WEATHER MOVING THROUGH TRUMBULL & MAHONING COUNTIES ⛈️

Strong thunderstorms are moving through Northeast Ohio this evening, and Trumbull and Mahoning counties are currently under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 PM.

The biggest concern tonight is damaging winds, which can bring down limbs, uproot weakened trees, and leave trees or large branches on homes, vehicles, driveways, and power lines.

🌲 Joshua Tree Service is available for storm-damage response.

Storm damage can happen fast. Our Joshua Tree Service crew was out handling a major storm-damaged oak that came down across this property.

Photo #1: This is what we arrived to — a massive oak had come down across the yard, damaging the garage and creating a difficult cleanup with the tree tangled around other structures on the property.

Photo #2: A closer look shows just how much weight and pressure we were dealing with. Large storm-damaged trees like this have to be taken apart carefully because the wood can be under tremendous tension and shift without warning.

Photo #3: The finished result. The tree and debris were safely removed, the area was cleaned up, and the property was left ready for the homeowner to move forward with repairs.

Jobs like this are exactly why experience and proper equipment matter. I’m proud of the Joshua Tree Service crew for getting in, working safely, and taking care of a tough situation for the homeowner.
