One of my favorite parts of being an interior designer is getting a behind-the-scenes look at how the furniture we specify is actually made.
During our visit to the Charles Stewart factory, we got a firsthand look at the craftsmanship, construction, and incredible attention to detail that goes into creating quality upholstered furniture.
From the wood frames to the support systems and all those little details you’ll never actually see, every step matters.
And here’s something I always tell my clients: Two sofas can look almost identical but be worlds apart in quality.
That’s why knowing what’s INSIDE your furniture is just as important as choosing the perfect fabric.
Beautiful design should be more than just a pretty face. It should be comfortable, functional, and made to last.
