Garden Tip of the Week: One of the easiest ways to style your garden for fall is to focus on texture layering. Silhouettes look their best when they’re paired with natural materials that highlight their warm patina.

Try combining:
• Mossy pots for softness
• Pumpkins or gourds for bold shapes
• Branches or twigs for height
• Straw or raffia for rustic warmth
• Stone or brick for contrast

Place a silhouette — like the Singing Warbler, Barn Owl, Woodpecker Tab, Magic Mushroom Pick, or Walking Cat — where it interacts with these textures. The mix of smooth metal and organic materials creates a cozy, layered fall display that feels intentional and inviting.

Explore this week’s Halloween mini collection:
• Barn Owl — a classic symbol of nighttime mystery

• Magic Mushroom Pick — a whimsical touch for fall planters
• Walking Cat — a playful nod to Halloween tradition

Bring a little enchantment to your outdoor space this season.

Product Spotlight: Our Walking Cat is one of those pieces that quietly steals the show — especially in October. With its curious pose and textured silhouette, it adds just the right touch of Halloween charm without feeling overly themed.

Mount it on a fence rail, tree branch, or fallen log where it looks like it’s prowling through your fall garden. Pair it with pumpkins, gourds, or a pot of ornamental grasses to create a cozy, slightly mysterious vignette that feels perfect for the season.

It’s a fun way to bring personality and a hint of Halloween magic into your outdoor space. See the Walking Cat at https://rustybirds.com/products/walking-cat
