All are welcome, even if it's just to come walk around smell the roses and pet the Orchards Farm Animals. Orchards Feed was established in 1889, making it the oldest existing business in its original location in Clark County Washington. It originally started out as simply a country feed store where surrounding farmers bought feed for their cows, rabbits, chickens and pigs. The Carlson family bought the business in 1989 and began to expand the store by including supplies for dogs, cats, horses and wildlife. Orchards Feed currently can feed any animal on earth. While we may not stock elephant feed or alligator chow, we know where to get it and what it sells for. Our main focus of products falls into five major categories. Those include horse and livestock, pets, wild bird, lawn and garden, and heating fuel. We carry a broad spectrum in each category to take care of a wide range of customers. We pride ourselves on not only carrying and having in stock those items you need, but also if we don’t stock what you want we will get it for you. And if you want it brought to you, we will even deliver it. We are a business that prides itself on consistency, history and community. We have been here for over 120 years and expect to be here for another 120 years. The Orchards Feed team has more experience in this business than any of its competitors in the area. With management having a combined 50 plus years’ experience, we are unequalled in the industry. Customer Service is also a cornerstone of our business philosophy. Hey there, our amazing Orchards Feed Store customers.

Just wanted to let you know the following:

Yes we will have Christmas trees like we had last year, and we took your advice on what to get and how to display them.

Yes we will have our Christmas products for sale.

Yes we will be having our Photo Christmas display.

Yes we will have our free Santa Pictures

But for the love of everything holy, no, we are not setting them up until the weekend of Thanksgiving.

I was shocked to see all the Christmas stuff so early a month ago in all the shops, and I understand that, yes we might be missing the boat with presales on things, but we are trying to be more present in the season that we are in.

And more importantly we are really trying not to bend to the whims of Big Box Store Mentality, were too old for that - 138years and creaking along.

Give fall a chance lol.

As if we needed to be any more "extra" our "Orchards Feed Store Great Pumpkin" has arrived!

It is tucked in nicely in our Pumpkin Hay Throne Display, adding a Big Fall Feel to your photo ops. We build this and our Christmas displays so you and all your friends family and pets have a place to take free pictures commemorating the seasons. Remember you just need to ask someone up front and we will gladly take your pictures for you with your phone or camera.

And after this 706 lb beast has served its purpose we will once again chainsaw it open and collect the seeds for saving and then distribute the flesh to our farm animals and our customers aninals as a fall treat.

The seeds will be given away later on in spring of 2027 and we will announce it in advance next year like we did this year.

Our amazing Orchards Feed Store nursery crew have consolidated our remaining roses into the front field beds. We need to move them out to prepare for next years nursery. You will be so amazed at our plans for next spring!

All remaining roses are only $10. Fall is a great time plant your trees and shrubs, including roses. If you think you don't have enough room, consider that I went from 13 roses last year to 223 roses thos year! 😆

They might look a little rough now, its fall, cut them some slack, I look rough after this year too. But come spring, after a long fall/winter nap, they will reward you with great blooms and healthy new canes.

Zac and Andrew loaded up 570 lbs of pumpkins as a donation to our dear friend Deb at Assistance League of Southwest Washington .

Deb and her crew provide a pumpkin patch for children and families to be able to carve pumpkins or get pumpkins for cooking that they might not be able to get. Deb has been a customer of Orchards Feed Store for years and we love the work she does for others. Fun pics of her pumpkin patch she builds to follow.

Our pumpkins, squash and gourds are going fast. Our last shipment of them were put out this Fine Fall Saturday morning.

The Blue Hubbard are the absolute best for making the most flavorful and creamy texture pies. If you want a more traditional pumpkin pie, we have many baking pumpkins too.

Its here ! The last batch of Territorial Seed Company fall bulbs for the season. And supplies are limited so hurry in.

Just inside the front door of you will find:

The much anticipated Elephant Garlic (its enormous) and Beautiful Shallots.

The striking Native Camas bulbs, with their amazing blue flowers. Plant it and forgwt it, it takes care of itself, and it returns for decades. The patch I grew up with has been growing since before we moved there in 1976, still comes up faithfully and survives just on rain water.

Saffron Crocus - with its amazing history as the most expensive spice, easy to grow and harvest.

And last but not least, the fragrant and beautiful Paperwhite Narcissis. Grow these up in the containers you want them in for your holiday celebrations. The difference when you grow these yourself in your own soil (not just peat like big box) and proper depth makes it worth it.
