History
I started beekeeping in the spring of 2015 and quickly became fascinated by the amazing honey bee, the craft of beekeeping, and the people involved with it. It has been and still is a wonderful adventure. I have been a member of Huguenot Beekeepers Association, our local bee club since 2015. I also serve as a technical advisor for the club. I have completed apprentice certification, am in the process of journeyman certification, and will eventually pursue master certification from the Virginia State Beekeepers Association.
