What started as a simple question — "What if this could be used for something else?" — turned into something much bigger.
We're excited to share that repurposedMATERIALS was recently featured in Resource Recycling! 🎉
The article takes a look at how our founder, Damon Carson, turned an idea into what he calls the country's first "industrial thrift store" back in 2010.
Fast forward 16 years, and we're now giving approximately 16 MILLION pounds of industrial materials a second chance each year!
From ballistic glass finding a new purpose in a lion enclosure to fiberglass conduit becoming boat masts, we've learned that sometimes the most unexpected materials have the most incredible possibilities.
