When I got out on my own, I just thought it was what one does. Over the years, my husband and I have decorated our home with furniture that we have refinished or painted. My husband, Buddy calls me the Furniture Whisperer because I say that I let the furniture tell me what to do. Buddy owned and operated a Drapery Workroom in Huntsville. His work can be seen in some of the nicest homes in Nashville, Huntsville, Madison and Athens. We decided in the summer of 2016 to turn our passion into a business. We select the most interesting pieces, and carefully inspect for structural damage. Repairs are made as needed. Each piece is thoroughly cleaned -inside and out. Then we sand or strip. Two coats of primer are applied and sanded for the smoothest finish possible. Now, we let the furniture speak. We finish each piece in the way that best reflects it's style and history.
