💚 Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway! We’re collecting groceries to help local families enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner. Check out our pinned post for ways to give or request a basket.

🦃 Cluain Farm Thanksgiving Food Drive 🌻 (All links available in comments due to Meta restrictions)

This Thanksgiving, we're hoping to help five local families put a warm, homemade holiday meal on their tables. And with the help of our community, we hope to reach even more!

Our family knows what it's like to need a little extra help, especially around the holidays. We also know how much it means when neighbors come together to care for one another.

Each Thanksgiving basket will include a turkey, potatoes, stuffing, gravy, corn, everything needed for green bean casserole, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie, whipped topping, milk, and butter.

We've priced these meals at approximately $38 per family!

Here's how you can help:

🛒 Shop our Walmart Wishlist

We've put together a list of groceries needed for the baskets. Whether you purchase a turkey, a box of stuffing, or a few canned vegetables, every contribution makes a difference!

🥫 Donate pantry items

Beginning tomorrow, October 26, we'll also be accepting donations of unopened, unexpired canned and boxed foods! Corn, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, fried onions, stuffing, and gravy are especially helpful. Just reach out to arrange a drop-off.

❄️ Help us find a refrigerator/freezer

We're looking for a working refrigerator/freezer that someone might be willing to lend, donate, or sell inexpensively. This will help us safely store perishable groceries until Thanksgiving.

Could your family use a Thanksgiving dinner this year? 💚

We know asking for help isn't always easy. That's why we've created a private request form. You don't have to publicly share your circumstances or explain why you need assistance.

Basket pickup is planned for Tuesday, November 24. We'll contact families privately to coordinate pickup times.

Our initial goal is five families, but we'll do our best to accommodate as many requests as donations and resources allow. Baskets will be confirmed as supplies become available.

Cluain Farm has always been about more than bread. We're working toward a community where neighbors look after one another, where everyone has something to offer, and where there's no shame in needing a hand.

Right now, we are the micro-est of micro bakeries… but Cluain Farm is so much more than just a bakery. It’s a community. Let me explain.

Every person has ups and downs. Everyone has moments when they struggle and moments when they thrive. Some may experience either one for a matter of hours or days, while others experience them for much longer. But everyone experiences them. It’s something we all have in common.

My family has been in the position of living with relatives because we didn’t have a home of our own, and relying on food pantries and SNAP benefits. Asking our community for help was a huge part of our lives for a few years. It is a humbling, terrifying experience that forces you to either grow or stay as you are. We are good, honest people who simply did not have the income required to support our family, and we needed help.

Honestly, we still do.

What we are trying to build is so much more than a bakery. We are trying to build a community that supports one another without judgment or shame. A place where people can come and say, “I need help feeding my kids this week,” or “My disability doesn’t cover all my needs. I need more nourishing food.”

We hope to turn Cluain Farm into a flower farm, a bakery, and a garden. A sanctuary. A place where people can come and feel safe. A place to come together and feed our bodies and souls.

We have spent this year learning to grow food, herbs, and flowers. We have learned how to make good, wholesome food with a few simple, quality ingredients. We have spent this year learning about our children’s unique needs. We don’t just want to create another business. We want to create community, togetherness, and peace.

We know this dream won’t happen overnight. Right now, we’re a tiny bakery working out of our home, learning as we go, and doing what we can with what we have.

But we’ve already started.

With the help of our customers and our family’s matching donations, we’ve delivered 54 loaves of bread and 72 bagels to our local food pantry. That’s 126 baked items shared with our neighbors since we opened four months ago.

And while we’re proud of that, we know the need is much greater.

We don’t have acres of flowers, rows of vegetables, or a beautiful little farm where everyone can gather. Not yet.

What we do have is a vision, a willingness to work toward it, and a belief that community isn’t something you have to wait until you’re successful to create.

We don’t want Cluain Farm to be a place where anyone feels less than because they need help. We want it to be a place where people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

Some days we have something to give. Some days we need someone to give us a hand. That’s life, and there’s no shame in either.

So whether you’re here to buy a loaf of bread, watch our flowers grow, support our food pantry donations, or simply follow along as we try to turn this dream into something real, you’re welcome here.

We’re starting small. Really small.

But we hope to grow something beautiful together. 🌸

Every week, Cluain Farm bakes donation loaves.. in 4 months, we’ve donated 172 items.. 42 loaves of bread and 72 bagels..
.and every week, either one or both of the mini Cluainers come with me to drop off the donations at our local pantry, inside Tyler Thrift

They insist on loading the shelves. They insist on carrying the baskets of bread inside. They insist on being there, to make sure families that are struggling have access to their favorite bread.

I’m so proud of them, I’m so proud of what Cluain Farm has become in the Tyler, TX community.

Every donation a customer makes to the food pantry, Cluain Farm matches. That means for every 10 purchased loaves, the kids help me load 20 loaves onto the shelves.

Last week, we dropped off 14 loaves and 36 bagels. That’s approx 20 families that were fed through our donation program.

Our community is incredible, and I hope that our donation program continues to grow.

One of the things I love most about Cluain Farm is getting to share my love of baking with this wonderful East Texas community! 🍞💚

Every loaf I bake, every order, and every kind word means so much to me. I'm truly grateful for everyone who's supported my little home bakery!

With Thanksgiving coming up, I've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen planning something special. 🦃🍂

I know how much love and work goes into preparing a Thanksgiving meal, and I'd love for Cluain Farm to be a small part of your family's traditions this year.
