🏡 Steep slopes? No problem! We tackle extreme grade changes with ease. For this project, we addressed erosion, boat launch access, and maintenance needs. The backyard design features a modern aesthetic, characterized by terraced retaining walls and extensive mass plantings. 🌿 We selected deer-resistant, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance plants to complement the house architecture. As they mature, these plants will beautifully soften and cascade over the walls. 🌱

🌿 Curious about the difference between swales and rain gardens? Both are depressions that treat rainwater, but they serve distinct purposes. Swales allow water to pass through, while rain gardens capture and retain it. 💧 We collaborate with various jurisdictions to design swale and rain garden planting plans for both commercial and residential spaces. Need a custom plan? Contact us today for a consultation! 🌱
