Reading material at the breakfast table? Yes, when you have a house sitter and a fancy new bidet toilet. Fortunately, it’s an learning curve. 😁 🤷🏼‍♀️

Be wary! Sharing this from a retired judge friend.

The Aesthetic Movement had its peak in the late 1800s. Art for the sake of art. Beauty in architecture and decor, with no agenda and no obligation. It’s coming back. Not to be confused with Maximalism.

This image features an eclectic living room at the historic Temple of Wings property in Berkeley, California, styled by the late philanthropist and tastemaker Ann Getty.

Always fun to see the rough-in plumbing start on a bath remodel! Expert Plumbing has some funky issues to correct as they build out the new plans, but it’s in safe hands! This is a first time working with D&S Renovations and it’s going very well.

Yes, this is an ad. And yes, it’s a great stepping off point for consideration of what we do with furniture.

Looking back through old portfolios and came across this. It was really fun transforming this dated southwest lamp using only ribbon on the base and shade. No paint, just breaking the color lines. And fun turning a dated southwest room into an updated southwest theme, keeping the furniture and art.

A picture speaks a thousand words. This very budget friendly (mostly!) living room furniture will be a fun, relaxing setting for my client's Michigan lake home. We're both super excited to have settled on the right look for her.
