I am thankful to be a nice New Yorker. I grew up in Flushing (Like The Nanny😂) The West Village has been a favorite of mine ever since I went to Stuyvesant High School and NYU. The restaurants, the atmosphere, the people watching, it is a must for anyone visiting NYC. Had the best day walking around to all of the famous photo ops and iconic locations.

Taylor’s favorite restaurant is just steps from her old house. You will definitely need a reservation so plan ahead.

It is the nicest restaurant. I had the pasta with white truffles. It was incredible. Now I know why Taylor loves it😘

I’ve always had thin hair, but during menopause it really started thinning, and I lost a piece of my confidence.

I’d buy new clothes hoping they’d make me feel like myself again. They were nice… but they didn’t fix how I felt when I looked in the mirror.

Because here’s the thing → you wear new clothes once in a while. You wear your hair every single day.

Finding the right wig gave me back more than hair. It gave me back me. I walk into a room differently now. 💛

If you’re quietly going through this, please know you’re not alone, and it’s okay to do what makes you feel like yourself.

The lazy girl’s guide to makeup 💄 IT Cosmetics edition!

Meet Bear, my Frenchie grand dog and my new life coach. 🐾

Now, Bear is HIGH energy (Frenchie lovers, IYKYK 😅). But she and the Roomba have reached an understanding: do not bother the botherer if the botherer is not bothering. 😂

Honestly? That’s the best advice I’ve heard in a while. After 50, I’ve learned not every battle needs me. If it’s not bothering me, I’m not bothering it. Peace over drama, every time.

At 60, I’m still learning, and I’m bringing YOU along! 💕💄
Yesterday I attended an exclusive OGEE workshop at Nordstrom with makeup artist and author Erica Taylor Erica Taylor, and I was grateful for the chance to learn from a true professional! She applied the products live and explained each step as she went. Seeing it done in real time made everything click! ✨
And let me tell you, Erica is just as kind and genuine in person as she is online. She took the time to answer every question and made us all feel so welcome. 💗
My favorite takeaway: our skin needs oil as we age! Erica prepped with the Ogee Hydraganics Jojoba Glow Face Oil, and when your skincare and makeup are made to work together, you get a smooth, flawless finish instead of makeup that sits on top of dry skin.
