HolidayCoro started initially with the production of Coroplast based products in 2008 by our parent company which manufactures many different types of items with computer controlled machinery. As we were heavily involved with the pioneering of RGB and pixels into the Holiday Lighting community in 2010, we then expanded our product lines into RGB and pixel products. Since then, HolidayCoro has gone on to become the most comprehensive and premier suppliers for the DIY Holiday Lighting community. HolidayCoro is located near Houston Texas which provides quick delivery of our products to the entire country. HolidayCoro makes it happen through our great, dedicated employees - Susan who handles order logistics, website updates and paperwork, Betsy which handles product picking and shipping, Brandon and Ronda that handle custom designs and controller assembly, Joshua "Jr" who is our in-house go-fer and David which provides technical support, product design & purchasing and everything else - all of which are located right here in the US. Our mission is to provide the best quality products to our dedicated DIY customers at very reasonable prices, enabling our customers to put on amazing Holiday Animated displays across the country.

100% of HolidayCoro's coro and non-electrical based items are designed in the US, manufactured in the US and produced with US made materials. All controller assemblies/kits are assembled in our Houston, TX shop. Additionally, all our RGB and Pixel products are designed in the US to ensure they meet our strict specifications. HolidayCoro also goes the extra mile and personally visits our foreign contract factories each year to ensure that meet our quality and ethical requirements - we feel it is best to have a complete and personal understanding of our supply chain from end to end to ensure that we know the products we are providing to our customers and the environment they are being produced in.

Think you can’t build a dancing light show? You absolutely can, and we’ll show you how.

Every display that makes you slow down on the drive home was built by someone who had never done it before. That includes us. HolidayCoro started in a family-built shed where we cut our very first props. About 18 years later, we work out of four warehouses and build displays for homeowners and hobbyists, as well as theme parks, zoos, and malls.

Now we want to build your first one with you. Pick a project, follow along step by step, and we’ll be with you the whole way.

Why first-timers start with us:
✅ About 18 years in the pixel lighting business
✅ Real help when you get stuck, by email, phone, and live help
✅ USA repairs, usually turned around in 24 hours
✅ Trusted by homeowners and hobbyists, and by commercial clients like theme parks, zoos, and malls

You don’t need light show experience. You do need to enjoy a hands-on build: some wiring, some software, and a willingness to troubleshoot as you learn. If that sounds like a fun weekend to you, you’re ready.

One roofline, three completely different looks.

Icicles. A VU meter bouncing to the music. A holiday message for the neighbors. All on the same ModuCicle™ panels. Nothing on the roof changes, only the effect in your sequence.

That’s what the new 1" spacing opens up. With pixels 1" apart and up to 20 rows, the panel works as a high-density matrix that hangs right where your icicles go. And when you do want icicles, they can taper and vary in width like real ones.

✅ 1" pixel spacing
✅ 15 or 20 pixels high × 94 pixels wide per panel
✅ Icicles, scrolling text, fire, VU meters and other matrix effects
✅ Panels join end to end to fit your roofline
✅ Black or white

Same lights, every season.

When you order from us, you're not waiting weeks for it to leave the building.

Order on a weekday and most orders ship the same business day. We post our actual processing times so you can see it for yourself:

✅ Regular items: cables, pixels, mounting supplies and accessories
✅ Controllers: assembled controller products
✅ Custom props: made to order, so these take a bit longer
✅ Extreme Strip: custom punched

Orders placed on the weekend take a little longer, since we don't normally process orders on Saturday or Sunday.

Current processing times are linked in the first comment 👇

Fun fact: we have a product page with DO NOT ORDER at the top of it.

It's for a 50 watt RGB flood light. We don't carry one. The page exists because
people keep asking, and the honest answer took more than a sentence.

The short version: on a house, several small floods beat one big one.

❌ Hot spots — houses have columns, gables, soffits and porches. A high-output
flood lights the middle and leaves the edges dark.
❌ Less to sequence — four or six floods across a house face can chase and roll
color. One or two can't do much of anything.
❌ Muddier color — big floods throw a wide circular beam, so they overlap more,
and overlapping red and green mostly gives you yellow.
❌ More wiring — a 50W+ flood usually wants its own 120V run plus a separate
data line. 10 watt floods daisy-chain off a single controller output.
❌ More money — high-output floods run $100 to $350+ each, mostly paying for the
housing that gets rid of the heat.

Where high output does earn its keep: one focused target, like uplighting a
tall tree.

💡 See it for yourself tonight. Stand out front and shine a flashlight at the
house. You're not measuring anything — you're just seeing how much of the face
one light from one spot actually reaches, and which corners stay dark behind
the porch and the gables. That's the whole argument, in about ten seconds.

For a house we'd run 4 to 10 of the 10 watt floods across the face and overlap
them, the way a theater would. At $29.99 each, six of them land in the same
range as a single high-output flood.

Fun fact: starting with version 2026.17 (released Sept 8), xLights includes an MCP server.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It’s a standard that lets AI tools connect to other software and operate it.

In xLights, the MCP server runs alongside the existing REST Automation API, on the same port. That means an AI tool that supports MCP can work in xLights for you instead of just giving you advice.

What that AI tool can do in xLights:
✅ Add effects to your models
✅ Change an effect’s settings, colors and timing
✅ Delete effects
✅ Open, save and render sequences
✅ Look up your models, groups and controllers
✅ Turn output to your lights on and off

It’s handy for the repetitive stuff, like adjusting the same kind of effect across a bunch of props, so you can spend your time on the creative part.

🎁 Bonus fun fact: back in April, xLights 2026.04 added Claude (by Anthropic) as an AI service for color palette generation and model mapping.

Since all of this is so new, what have your experiences been? 👇

4 ways to build a pixel matrix
One matrix can show song titles, singing faces, logos, photos and animations. The real difference is how much of it you want to build yourself.

✅ Seed Matrix Panels: pixels come already installed. Plug them into a controller and go.
✅ Pixel Matrix Screen Kit: pixels, controller, power and wiring together in one kit. No soldering.
✅ PixNode Net: flexible. Cut it to any size or shape and roll it up after the season.
✅ PixNode Rigid Matrix Panel: a solid panel with every pixel position already laid out.

Tip: choose your pixel spacing based on how far away people will watch. 2" spacing works from 10 to 100 feet.

🔗 Links to all four are in the first comment.

Fun fact: we've been making this one for almost 15 years.

The RGB Rectangle Luminary Box is the color-changing version of the lanterns people line their walkways and driveways with. Put a row down your front path and they glow any color you want, in time with the rest of your show.

Built to stand outside all season:

✅ A 2-inch raised base that lifts the glow up above the snow and the grass
✅ Drain holes that keep the inside dry
✅ Notched edges and strain relief to keep your CAT5 up off the wet ground
✅ Fold-over top flaps that push more light out and shed snow
✅ Pre-drilled for the modules and controller — no measuring, no guessing
✅ No painting, and the top lays flat for off-season storage

The coro goes together in about two to four minutes. Available as a kit or
fully assembled.
