Every year it seems that I take a photo of this maple tree during this time of the year. When you look out the window during a certain time of the day the light hits it just right and all of the orange, red, brown, and green colors seem to be just right!

Sooooo with all the dreary weather this weekend, we decided to do something with all of these jalapenos. Whelp, we started a gallon...yes a GALLON of hot pepper vinegar!! In about 3-4 weeks, it should be ready and after it is all gone, we'll just pour vinegar in and start it all over again. It's called a 'continuous pour" pepper vinegar or at least until the peppers lose their heat. Who knows, maybe we will be able to fill up a small container for you one day soon 😎.

Us watching the squirrels ravage our pecan trees when this is bumper crop year. I mean the level of greed is out of control. They know they will not find half these pecans later 😡.

On top of that, we feed them our homemade feed made from all organic ingredients! Yep, you read that right. We make our own feed so that we know exactly what we are giving to our girls! If interested, just shoot us a message. They are just $6 per dozen!

So here is a Father & Son duo. The father is our Dark Cornish rooster, "Lieutenant . His Son is a Dark Cornish mixed with a Barred Rock. They crow the same and you can see the dark Cornish feathering style with tents of brown & green, but when you look at his chest, the black & white of the barred rock sticks out! This is why he's named "Pretty Ricky" !
