Happy National Buy a Cookbook Day! 📚🍽️

Bobby’s love of cookbooks started at home. His mother collected more than 1,500 cookbooks over the years, filling shelves with recipes, stories, and inspiration from kitchens around the world. Needless to say, a love of cooking, entertaining, and a good cookbook runs in the family.

When we opened DUGAZON, we knew we wanted to bring a little of that tradition into the shop. So we created our own smaller collection of cookbooks, thoughtfully gathered for those who love to cook, entertain, or simply curl up and read a wonderful recipe.

Our collection may be a bit more modest than Bobby’s mother’s, but the sentiment is exactly the same. A good cookbook is meant to be enjoyed, shared, splattered with ingredients, and passed along.

HELLO, NOVEMBER!

Another month has come and gone, and what a wonderful one it was!

With the clocks turning back and the holidays just around the corner, we’re settling into November at DUGAZON. New treasures are arriving daily, and we’ve got some fun gatherings in the works!

The Joy of Giving!

What a lovely way to kick off the season! We’re thrilled to see the Il Buco Assisi Menorah featured in the November 2026 issue of Connecticut Cottages and Gardens!

We’ve always loved pieces that bring a little beauty and tradition to the home, especially when family and friends gather.

WE’RE BACK! 🇮🇪

After a fabulous week exploring, shopping and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of Ireland, we’re back at DUGAZON!

The shop returns to regular hours starting today (October 28th), Wednesday–Sunday, 11–5.

We’re busy unpacking all the treasures we found along the way, and we can’t wait to share them with you. More than anything, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back into the shop. Come say hello, catch up and see what’s new. We’ve missed you!

A little adventure in Howth.

A walk along the beautiful cliffs, a wander through the village, fabulous fish and chips, oysters, and of course, a pint of Guinness. A pretty perfect day on the Irish coast.

CHAIRS OF IRELAND 🇮🇪🪑

As some of you may know, DUGAZON co-founder Bobby has a bit of a chair obsession. And Ireland certainly hasn’t helped!

Here are a few of his favorites from our travels. Matt has already made it VERY clear that no chairs are coming home with us. And we can only imagine our dear friend Bonnie, aka Bonnie Morrison, rolling her eyes at this very moment.

What can we say? We love a good chair!

It’s been a fabulous Irish adventure, but we’re looking forward to seeing everyone when we reopen on Wednesday, October 28.
