Comment “soil” and I’ll send you my free soil mini- guide so you can get started caring for your soil today. 👩‍🌾🪱

Every good harvest starts with great soil. 🪏It’s not necessarily the seeds or the fertilizers. It’s actually the creatures and organisms in the soil that do all that heavy lifting.

If you’ve ever struggled with:
🪱compact or hydrophobic soil
🪱 stunted growth
🪱 small leaves
🪱 yellowing leaves
🪱 powder dry soil
🪱 too many pests

All this can start to be remedied when you put more focus on your garden soil.

It’s been a long growing season and now is a good time to give those soil organisms tons of TLC.

The garden is my favourite place to unplug and get in touch with nature. It’s so peaceful and full of colours and beauty. And the harvests bring so much joy.

Comment ‘interested’ and I’ll send you my free teaser guide to my soil course.

Getting that soil right and caring for it through the seasons is not all that easy - especially if you grow year round like I do. 😅

But it’s the key to those amazing harvests.

Here are 4 tips to getting better harvests next round:

1. The first step is checking if you have any invasive roots and removing them. You need to make a more permanent plan to keeping them out. (But more on that another time)

2. Then you must check your soil structure. If it’s too sandy it won’t do well in those hot temperatures. All the water will just drain through and take all the nutrients with it. And if it’s too compact it will just make it impossible for our veggies to grow comfortably.

3. Check for living organisms in your soil. It’s possible there are no living creatures wiggling around in there. But we need to bring them back - they play a crucial role in the health and growth of our plants.

4. Make sure you don’t make this mistake: watering often for short periods of time. It will train your roots to stay near the surface and never develop deep root systems.

Which one of these is your garden is struggling with? Let me know below.
