Ever notice this?π€
Well, it's been a long time since I've posted on here, but today I'm going to do a little bitching.
What I'm about to say may p**s some of you off. Or maybe it's something you've thought yourself but never wanted to say out loud. Either way... here we go.
Lately, I've noticed more and more creators jumping on social media to vent about their livesβtheir health, their marriage, family issues, or whatever is going on. That's their choice, and I have no problem with that.
What gets me is how they almost always start with something like, "Don't come at me, I'm not in the mood," or "Keep your opinions and solutions to yourself."
Wait... what?π³
You're posting your personal business on a public platform for hundreds or even thousands of people to see, but you're telling everyone how they're allowed to respond?
That's not how social media works.
If you put something out there, people are going to react. Some will agree. Some won't. Some will offer advice. Some will criticize. That's the nature of opening the door to the public.
I've had to bite my tongue more times than I can count because my first thought was, "Then why post it at all if you don't want anyone's feedback?"
I understand adding content to your business page is a good thing, but why put that?
I'm genuinely curious...
When did social media become a place where people can say whatever they want, but everyone else is only allowed to respond with positivity?
What do y'all think? π€
Oh, and before I forget, only positive feedback is accepted here... π€£
You knew I was going to say that!! π
