FLOW is a remarkable place.

Different backgrounds. Different cultures. Different perspectives and life experiences—all coming together under one roof.

Not because there will never be friction.
Not because we will always immediately understand one another.
And certainly not because we will always agree.

But because we have the courage to listen, to learn from each other, and to remember that even when we disagree, we are working toward the same goal: to make our communities—and our world—a little better through the work we do.

We are different, and that is one of our greatest strengths.

We are humble.
We are hardworking.
We are learning.
And we are united.

This isn’t really a Halloween message.

This is simply who we are. This is FLOW.

Happy Halloween from our family to yours. 🎃

Architecture begins with an idea—but its real impact is measured in how people live, gather, learn, grow, and belong.

At Flow Design Architects, we believe design has the power to shape more than buildings. It can strengthen neighborhoods, reflect culture, create opportunity, and make everyday life better.

On World Architecture Day, we celebrate the people behind the work, the communities that give it meaning, and the responsibility we carry every time we shape a place.

Design with purpose. Build with people.

Happy World Architecture Day from Flow Design Architects.

Last week we had our first ever of hopefully many to come Flow DEVELOPMENT days. We close the shop. We got some amazing Keynote speakers, local presenters and even staff members and we got to work on our people. I’ve never experienced anything like this in the 10+ architectural firms I ever worked at and I wanted to give everyone a fighting chance of doing excellent architecture you have to invest in your people. This photo is just a fun reminder of that day.

A recent favorite: our full renovation and addition at 180 Holworthy St in Cambridge, MA. From the redesigned kitchen and dining room to the lower-level bar and primary suite, this project reflects our multidisciplinary approach to architectural and interior design.

Some news I am incredibly proud to finally share.

I am honored to be named to the ALX100 Class of 2026, recognizing 100 Latino leaders helping shape the future of Massachusetts.

I have always believed that architecture can be about far more than buildings. It can create opportunity, strengthen communities, open doors, and help people see what is possible.

That belief has shaped the work we are building at Flow Design Architects, the communities we serve, and my own journey as a designer, entrepreneur, and leader.

This recognition is especially meaningful because I share it with 99 extraordinary Latino leaders working across business, government, education, healthcare, philanthropy, entrepreneurship, the arts, and the nonprofit sector.

Thank you for creating a platform that recognizes, connects, and amplifies Latino leadership across the Commonwealth.

And to everyone who has been part of the journey—our Flow team, clients, collaborators, mentors, friends, family, and communities—this moment belongs to the work we have built together.

There is still much more to do.

Onward.

There are moments that look simple in a photo, but mean so much more. ❤️

Our Summer Outing is never just about getting away from the office. It is about protecting something we have worked hard to build at Flow: culture, relationships, trust, and each other.

Culture builds relationships. Relationships build trust. And without trust, there is no team.

We believe in one for all and all for one. That means showing up for each other, celebrating together, creating memories, taking the photos, sharing the laughs, and remembering that the little moments eventually become the big ones.

Flow has always fought fiercely for its people and its culture because once you lose that sense of togetherness, you lose something that cannot simply be replaced.

We are building more than projects.
More than careers.
More than a company.

We are building something together. 🙏🏽💪🏽🔥

And someday, we may look back at photos like this and realize just how important these moments really were.

To everyone who made it—thank you for showing up. And to those who couldn’t be with us, you were missed. ❤️
