Some news for our Hoo's Handy family and friends: I'm pausing the business for a season.
Bilbo Baggins put it better than I could: "I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread." That's where I've been β UPS during the week, admin at night, jobs on the weekends, and less and less left over for the people who matter most.
My wife needs more of me right now, and so do my kids. So I'm choosing to be present at home instead of everywhere else. When life settles down, I'll be back.
To be clear β I'll still be finishing up all my currently scheduled jobs and taking care of anyone I'm already in conversation with. I'm just not taking on new clients for now.
This isn't me walking away from Hoo's Handy. It's not gone, it's just not now. I built this business on Ephesians 2:10 β that we're made for good works β and that calling doesn't disappear because I'm stepping back for a while. I'll be back at it when the season's right.
I'm grateful for every client who trusted me with their home, and every neighbor who supported this from day one. Thank you for understanding.
