🚨 This customer had some problems, but knew who to call to get their roof taken care!!! 🦸
When we got this call, we had no idea how bad things would get. On our initial inspection and estimate we could tell this was a “handyman special” and whoever did this roof last had no idea what they were doing (remember folks cheaper isn’t best, and licensing exists for a reason!). The vents on the roof weren’t correct (or installed properly), the customer was struggling with leaks, and they needed a new roof that they wouldn’t need to worry about; lucky for them we were ready to step in and get them take care of 💪
After we removed the old, wore out 3 tab shingles we discovered all KINDS of issues. The old roof didn’t have proper flashing or underlayment (which explains all the leak issues) so we had to address a TON of rotted decking as well as rotted fascia, and we even had to address rotted rafter tails. Once all of that was fixed we were ready to put the new roof on!
On this house we are installed the Owens Corning Flex shingle in a BEAUTIFUL Black Sable. When given the option this customer went with the premium Duration Flex thanks to the impressive Class 4 impact rating (benefit of a SBS shingle), the industry leading reinforced SURENAIL nailing strip, and the depth and beauty of the color. With a limited lifetime warranty, a standard wind rating of 130MPH (can be upgraded to 160MPH when the roof is a complete OC system), and a 25 year Algae resistance limited warranty this customer will have not only a beautiful roof, but one built to last decades. We might be bias, but the Black Sable shingle might be one of the BEST looking shingles on the market too!
Remember when it comes to your roof that you are installing something designed to protect your home & your family. Let us help you make the right choice and protect both for years to come.
