Scenes from a still full of flowers flower farm. Started chopping down dahlias on Sunday...because it's basically November and there's not a frost in sight! Also, the statice and strawflower?? Like, whoa! Excited to see how many tubers we get this year!

Hello!! From my dahlia-cutting-buying-too-early-in-the-season-mental-illness! Me and my disease are happy you're here! 🎉 Seriously, all jokes aside, how I think I'm going to keep cuttings AND a whole entire newborn alive is beyond me. WHAT COULD GO WRONG!?
🌸
Most importantly, please go follow Noriko at Wabi-Sabi Dahlias. She has absolutely stunning varieties and does an exceptional job growing. Noriko was one of the first people I bought a "hard to find" dahlia from off a Facebook Group when I was a baby dahlia grower. I've gone back to her and her sales year after year and I'm NEVER disappointed. Three cheers for Noriko! Thank you!

Coorabell Lonny. Like, girl, get it together. Just bloom already. Unhinged dahlia discussions part...I don't even know because my brain is barely working these days. We are so close. Everyone is tired. We're literally just waiting on you, bb girl.

Almost all caught up on fall shipping! Our final order of tulips *should* be here this week! All ranunculus and anemones will be shipped by tomorrow! My poor dining room is in a state of total chaos (much like myself lol), but we're getting it done!
🌸
If you haven't ordered fall bulbs and corms yet, now's the time! These will ship this week! Our pricing is beyond fair AND I've got a little code for you, too: applicable on all order! MORESPRING gets you 10%!
🌸
You won't regret it in the Spring! Trust me! Happy shopping!

We survived the frost! Woohoo! We have a very small section of dahlias to tag, and then, we're home free! Also, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't waiting on a single flower to bloom confirm: Coorabell Lonny.
🌸
Also, please look at the SIZE of Lakeview Lady!! Fun story: I got this tuber from Raylene at Three Lakes Blooms | Raylene! She had sold all her Lakeview Lady, but managed to find me one after I lost mine in storage last year! It was a favorite of mine last season, so we took such great care of her this Spring. Shes generally a SUPER tall plant, so naturally, I got exactly one bloom and then my stalk snapped. That was in July. I waited all the way to mid-October for this bloom and it's totally worth it! She is a MUST GROW!! Many thanks to Raylene for ensuring I was able to grow this! 💕💕💕

Hard to put into words the wonderful weekend we had. We finished our season with 2 final weddings, full of beautiful colors and our dahlias. I hope it's never lost on me that I get to do this, that couples choose me time and time again to bring their visions to life. We also made homemade pasta with Claire (mistakes were made, but she loved it!), quackingham palace is almost done (!!!), and can't discount the swingset action! More thoughts on our season to come.

One of our biggest fall tasks is seed saving, especially the zinnias! They're truly one of our biggest workhorses! My mom and I have been saving seeds together for years! Last years, all the zinnias in this field came from a SINGLE 5 gallon bucket of seeds we saved in 2025! Hoping to triple this space next year! Wish us luck! Also, totally think you can hear us cracking up and me giving her directions to "pop out on the count of three!" 😂😂!

Anyone feel the same!? Tell me I'm not alone! I can't remember a person's name for the life of me. SOMEHOW, I manage to remember the names of all these dahlias though!?

Scenes from a beautiful weekend! Sometimes, Xav and I will sit at our kitchen counter and proclaim, "No one has it better than us." It's entirely too true. We have a healthy baby, a big yard, endless projects, 4 golden retrievers, and an old swing set that Claire is breathing life back into. Forever thankful for this wonderful life...and for the fact that I bought the big pack of flagging tape. It's Claire's favorite toy and it IS EVERYWHERE.
