Tim and I went to Kohler for new product training and a chance to look at product in their Design Center, along with a factory tour to see the product being made. While we have both been here before, it was my first time seeing the cast iron products
being poured and enameled, and that was worth the trip on its own!

While Kohler is a much different scale family owned private company than Top Tier, we can identify with and appreciate the level of quality, craftsmanship and pride they take in the product they create. It is something you feel while you're here. We
hope our customers have that continued feeling as we install that product in their homes.

The new countertops in this kitchen are going to be a while yet, and that's a long time to go without a kitchen sink. So our crew set the faucet on the temporary top to keep these homeowners up and running while they wait.

It's a small thing, and it's the kind of thing our crew thinks about, how people are living in the house while the work is still going on.

Don't be a Barry this winter (Barry you know who you are 😉) disconnect your hoses before winter.

A frostproof hose bib stays frostproof when hoses do not remain on them through winter. We love to see our customers - but we'd like to prevent problems for you this coming winter or spring.

Temperatures are getting colder overnight - get those hoses disconnected and hose bibs that are not frostproof winterized!

Ryan got married this weekend, and we got to celebrate him and his beautiful bride, Katie. 💚

Ryan started with Top Tier right out of high school, and it has been such an incredible privilege to watch this young man come into his own. Not only as a talented tradesman, but now as a husband.

And Katie. We lovingly call her Captain Katie, thanks to a certain Christmas party where she and Tim enjoyed many captain and cokes together. If you ever get lost, remember that no matter where you are, you take a left and you’ll get to Platteville. Just ask Katie.

Seven years together (time flies!!!) and it’s easy to see these two make each other better. They support each other, they challenge each other, and they know how to have fun.
It’s the people that make Top Tier, and Ryan and Katie are just great people.

Here’s to many, many years of laughter and love. Congrats Ryan & Katie! 🥂

A recent house finish with gold faucets, gold shower heads, and a freestanding tub sitting under the window with the pines right outside. We love it when the plumbing gets to be the pretty part of the room, and it takes a lot of good, hard work from our crew behind the walls to get there.

I sat down with our service plumber Tim Curtin, who I said was my third favorite Curtin in the world - but actually I need to correct that to 5th favorite because his daughter, Callie, and wife, Wendy, get in there before him too, and we found out that not only did his Father lie to him, but he also may be working through that trauma by inflicting more trauma running 100 miles at one time!!! Have you ever wondered about the fearless Lady Beaver that leads this Top Tier team? Well here she is folks, in her natural habitat cheering on kids at a cross country meet. Don’t be fooled by her small stature - she’s a fierce little Beaver. 🤣

We know how to wear lots of hats at Top Tier - we can be professional in one moment and then walk out the door and put on a blow up Beaver suit to cheer on our kid. It’s all about balance. And life is short - so make it fun!
