💙💛 The Progressive Proof is easing back into baking! 💛💙

After taking some much-needed time away from the ovens for surgery and recovery, I’m finally ready to start getting my hands back into some bigger batches of dough! 🥖❤️

I’m not quite ready to jump back into our regular baking schedule, but I AM ready to start feeding my neighbors again!

Here’s the plan:

Next week, I’ll be hosting a different SMALL BATCH BAKE every other day! Each bake will feature a limited selection of goodies from The Progressive Proof kitchen. Some familiar favorites, perhaps a few surprises, and plenty of sourdough love!

Have you ever wondered why pure vanilla extract is so expensive?

It starts with the vanilla beans themselves. Quality vanilla beans are definitely not cheap—and a really good bottle of extract takes something else that costs nothing but can’t be rushed: time.

A great vanilla extract has usually been sitting, steeping and developing flavor for at least a year. 🤎

We make our own vanilla extract here at The Progressive Proof, and the best part is that it’s incredibly simple to make at home.

WE HAVE EGGS!!! Come by and get your large, cage-free, eggs! $2/dozen. Even though I’m still recovering and baking is limited, I couldn’t pass up this excellent deal on eggs from our vendor. I’m still tinkering around in the kitchen and accepting pre-orders via DM. This week was spent trying out new pumpkin recipes. So while you’re visiting for eggs, feel free to grab a bag of the Pumpkin Spice Granola (V) I created from the cottage cabinet. The granola are FREE until they’re gone.
