Ope! Eucalyptus down! Street trees have special issues. We love them but they need special support! Please argue about city regulations and eucalyptus in my comments! 🙏

I was really confident this tree was an alder when I was filming it, but I’ll let the peanut gallery tell me if I’m wrong. Also, I stand by the LIVING SNAG prescription.

Happy birthday WILL! Tree Dogs wouldn’t be Tree Dogs without you! You’re a wonderful mentor, teacher, partner - and not to mention arborist! We love you. TRIPLE ACORN TREE SERVICE thanks for the video 🤍

So often we see Laceleaf maples that are let go and take on the “Cousin It” or “Blob” vibe (picture one). We ALSO see them get hedge pruned or hacked into the “flying saucer” or “umbrella” state…none of which highlights their incredible interior structure, nor great for airflow and encouraging natural growth. There’s an art to pruning them, to embracing their nature, showing off the interior - but doing so safely!

We did a laceleaf pruning workshop with Tillou Botanical Arts and it was awesome. Love this tree, it hadn’t been pruned in about 30 years - and the first stage went pretty good if you ask us! Slide 3 is the current state.

Come with me & to do some estimates! I really would need to take more time if they didn’t have integrated maps with our schedule. Click the link in our bio for a FREE trial and a discount if you want to sign up!

Sights & sounds of a nice jobsite removing a dead fir.

Here’s a how to make some stuff with fir or spruce tips! Make sure not to confuse with yew because they’re poison. Oh and I only have time to do this because I use Jobber which saves me time. Link in bio for free trial and a discount if you use our link!

Listen, here’s a reel of a real day. No added audio or dramatic editing. I love both, but can we enjoy this (unfortunate but necessary) removal & arranging of logs for client landscaping? Was a very nice day.
