Okay y’all, we said Thursday but we’re extending these prices through Saturday (10/31/26)! 🌼🙌

We’ve got about 50ish mums left. Big, beautiful WHOPPERS are $20 and our pretty mum hanging baskets are $15.

This is our 7th year growing mums, and y’all have helped us end every mum season before this one sold out. We’d sure love to wrap up year seven the same way. 💚

So come get you a big one, grab a couple for the porch, take one to somebody who needs a little fall pretty. Whatever you’ve gotta do, just don’t leave us with 50 mums. 🤪

At least a few of you pea-ple 😂 will be happy to see this. We’ve got about 100 pounds of fresh shelled Purple Hull and Lady Cream peas available at Turk Farm!

Y’all know what kind of summer we just came through. The heat and drought were hard on farms and left a whole lot less to harvest, so having fresh peas to offer right now really does feel like a treat! 🙌

And looks like a little rain headed our way soon, sounds like perfect weather for a good pot of peas. 💚 Y’all come grab some of these peas!

I havent said it enough lately, so thank y’all. 💚
Fall is still in full swing around here, but this afternoon I was putting together a porch plant design for a family who has so many wonderful things to celebrate, and it just stopped me for a minute.

Getting to do things like this, to almost paint with plants, thinking about the colors and textures and hoping every time someone walks by it, it makes them smile, is just really special to me. And it made me think about every one of you who walks through our doors, takes one of our plants home, trusts us with your porch, tells a friend about us, or chooses to spend a little piece of your day here at Turk Farm.

There’s a whole lot going on in the world, and growing plants and making pretty porches may seem like small things, but getting to grow good things for the people around us means more to us than I probably know how to put into words. 💚

Thank y’all for continuing to give us a place in your homes, your celebrations and your everyday lives. We truly, truly appreciate it.

These aren’t picked over leftovers, these are BEAUTIFUL mums that we’re incredibly proud of. There are months of growing, watering and caring for these behind the scenes, and nothing makes all that work sweeter than seeing them leave our farm for your porches. Selling what we grow is what lets a little farm like ours turn around and do it all over again next season. 🌱💚

Somebody asked me the other day what I’d start with if I wanted to grow something I could enjoy without it being a huge hassle. Like, where do you even start to grow your own food?
🎯 For me, it was blackberries and peaches, and these pictures are from those first harvests years ago! Three blackberries in my hand, and yes, they needed a picture because it’s dang cool to grow stuff. 😊
Now, all you seasoned gardeners already know the excitement, but if you’ve never grown anything, picking something you grew yourself is a pretty good feeling.
Nobody is born knowing how to do this, you learn as you go.
There’s plenty of bad in the world, and you don’t have to look very hard to find it. But you can make some good happen, too, even if it starts with a few blackberries and peaches in your own backyard.
