I’m already getting quite sad the trees are looking more naked 🥺 but I’ve been living for this weather ☀️

Some bops around town and made some messes in the kitchen this week!

5. Banh mi always from Banh Mi & Ti
6. Siena 🤩 | PGH eats + fitness is ❤️
7. Swinging in the park is slow living
8. Banh mi in pho is underrated and Peter loved doing this
9. Homemade butter chicken!!
10. Pumpkin spice matcha tastes like fallllll

Life has been more than a little crazy as of late with three straight weekends of weddings and Halloween parties. Here are some highlights from this week:

1. Fall walks and views at sunset in Pittsburgh are unparalleled
2. Go see radio island at Quantum Theatre until November 15th!! Incredible performance and set at Rockwell Park !!
3. Making my farfalle costume!! I was originally gonna be cheese but it just felt right to be pasta
4. Drinkies and snacks at Eleven Contemporary Kitchen
5. The foliage!
6. Dipping your banh mi in pho in good old Peter fashion Banh Mi & Ti
7. Saw Sammy Rae and the Friends at Stage AE
8. Sour Candy by Melt will always make me nostalgic and happy and sad because it was a big Peter song
9. Went to a crazy Halloween party last night with incredible costumes!!

Fall has been so busy but I’m so glad to have so much to look forward to. Here’s to one of the last weeks of October!

1. There’s nothing like a pour over from GHOST COFFEE COLLAB

3. Creative Chem Co is very cool
4. Homemade Earl Grey rose scones that people have been coming up to me gushing about ☺️
5. Waffalonia is the GOAT
6. Homemade sourdough with some herby compound butter from my garden slaps
7. My friends got married at the Warhol 🥹
8. This view!!!!
9. ippa_pgh is great, go get a Sammy
10. Butterwood is also the GOAT

Had ippa_pgh twice in the last 4 days so it’s clearly been my comfort food lately in the busy season of the year. You really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Their new special lately is the pot roast and their short rib sandos are always 💯

Been a whirlwind couple of weeks! Here’s a recap:

1. Pumpkin pancakes made from NYT recipe
2. Made a chocolate raspberry cake for my friend’s birthday
3. Top Pot & KBBQ PGH dinner with some great gal pals
4. Checked out Second Story Spirits and loved it
5. Been hitting the emotional support udon hard because October is busyyyy
6. Commonplace Coffee is so cool and I might really be in my coffee era, which Peter would’ve loved!
7. I have 7 weddings this year and a majority of them are this month! Made my Earl grey rose scones for cookie tables!
8. A lovely wedding in Cranberry, PA with amazing dinner from bar marco
9. Saw giant pumpkins but it was underwhelming and felt like LIDs
10. Amazing fall spice latte that’s a Pittsburgh Coffee Week special at De Fer Coffee & Tea - it’s Pittsburgh Coffee Week this week!
11. Little soosh and onigiri
12. I gotta admire the flora and fauna of the season
13. Really leaning into my tomato era
14. Got another lovely Russian mani from Illustrated Nails

Another fun spooky pop-up to add to your list is the Nightmare Bar happening right at Eleventh Hour Brewing Co. in Lawrenceville! The decor is so fun and they have fun drinks like these syringe shots! There’s fun games and activities and prizes. Definitely check them out on your Halloween bar crawl around Pittsburgh! You can get tickets online as well!

Another Halloween pop-up to add to your bar crawl list is the House of Burton at Mixtape ! The decorations are rad and they always have fun activities, weekly events, and a fun drink menu. Tickets are available online or at the door!
