♻️ OLD ROADS. NEW PURPOSE.
Did you know asphalt is one of the most recycled materials in America?
When an existing asphalt road is milled or removed, that material doesn’t have to go to waste. Reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) can be processed and incorporated into new asphalt mixtures, helping conserve natural resources and reduce the need for virgin materials.
📊 The impact is significant: In 2024, the asphalt industry reused an estimated 101.4 million tons of reclaimed asphalt pavement in new asphalt mixtures.
That’s innovation at work—giving existing materials another purpose while helping build the roads we depend on every day.
At DAPA, we’re proud to advocate for an asphalt industry that continues to advance through research, innovation, and responsible resource management.
