On the move. 🏗️🚛

Thackray Crane Rental recently transported a 60-ton rough terrain crane following its work on the new flyover interchange ramps at I-295 and Route 42 in New Jersey.

From getting cranes where they need to be to supporting major infrastructure projects throughout the region, our transportation team keeps the heavy equipment moving.

Another big move handled by Thackray.

Helping lift Philadelphia toward a brighter future. ☀️🏗️

Thackray Crane Rental was proud to be part of the solar project at Universal Audenried Charter High School in Philadelphia, providing the lifting power needed as new solar equipment was brought into place.

The project received $500,000 through Pennsylvania’s Solar for Schools program, supporting the school’s investment in solar energy.

From major infrastructure projects to renewable energy initiatives, we're proud to see Thackray equipment at work on projects making an impact throughout the Philadelphia region.

Night shift on I-95. 🌙🏗️

The Thackray Crane Rental team was on site near the former Bridge Street exit in Philadelphia, helping remove nine beams from I-95 as work continued through the night.

Working over one of the region’s busiest highways takes careful planning, coordination and precision. Another job getting done while Philadelphia keeps moving.

Big lifts. Tight timelines. Thackray gets it done.

Honoring the memory of September 11th. 🇺🇸

We were honored to play a role in relocating Montgomery County’s 9/11 Memorial to its new permanent home at Elmwood Park in Norristown.

The 18-foot memorial, created by sculptor Sassona Norton, incorporates an I-beam recovered from the North Tower of the World Trade Center and serves as a lasting tribute to the victims and first responders of September 11, 2001.

The relocation brought together multiple trades and organizations, with our team providing the trucking to transport a portion of the memorial using our 2024 Western Star 49X tractor and 2024 Trail King slide axle trailer.

We’re proud to have contributed to a project with meaning far beyond the work itself and to help preserve this important memorial for generations to come.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

A successful lift doesn’t start when the crane goes up. It starts long before the equipment ever reaches the jobsite.

Behind every project is careful planning, coordination, and transportation to make sure the cranes, equipment, and materials needed for the job arrive safely and on time.

At Thackray Crane Rental, our trucking and transportation team plays a critical role in supporting our crane operations and keeping jobs moving. From transporting cranes and heavy equipment to and from active jobsites to coordinating the equipment deliveries required for each project, our Teamsters are an essential part of the work we perform throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond.

Every mile has a purpose: supporting the job at hand and making sure our crews have what they need, where they need it, when they need it.

It takes experience. It takes precision. And it takes people you can count on.

To our drivers and transportation team, thank you for everything you do to keep Thackray moving. 🚛🇺🇸

Some jobs are built behind a desk. Others are built with steel, tools, equipment, experience, and a whole lot of hard work.

On National Tradesmen Day, Thackray Crane Rental is proud to recognize the skilled men and women who build, repair, install, maintain, fabricate, lift, move, and keep our communities running.

From crane operators, riggers, drivers, mechanics, and fabricators to ironworkers, electricians, HVAC technicians, construction crews, and the countless other skilled tradespeople we work alongside every day, your expertise matters.

These are careers built on skill, experience, precision, and pride in doing the job right.

To our own team and tradespeople everywhere, thank you for the work you do and the things you help make possible.

Happy National Tradesmen Day from Thackray Crane Rental. 🇺🇸
