Did you know Poetess and Stranger & Hexagon Records Petoskey has a FREE FOOD PANTRY inside? No purchase necessary, no permission needed. We focus on foods that can be eaten as is, or prepared in a microwave. ❤️Be sure to talk about it…you never know who is listening that needs to hear about it. ❤️ PLEASE LIKE & SHARE to increase the reach of this post.

Donations are always needed for both the pantry and our winter weather bin too…HATS & SCARVES: HAND MADE ONLY. Why hand made? It tells a person that they matter as much as your time. Hand warmers are needed too!

IDEAL FOODS: Tuna packets, nut/trail mix packets, pasta sauce, chewy/soft granola bars, cracker/cookie packs, slim Jim’s, cinnamon, hot sauce, salsa, bottled water, fruit cups, etc. Also, *all* cash donations go directly toward community aid.

NOT IDEAL: Canned beans/veggies, dried beans…no expired foods please.
