We are excited to welcome The Collected Thread back to MG for the day! Many of you may remember Abbey from her time at the shop a couple years ago. Since then, she has moved to Albany and started her own small business, The Collected Thread, creating beautiful embroidered pieces that make the sweetest gifts!

We’re thrilled to have her back under the MG roof for a special pop-up day. She’ll have a selection of embroidered gifts available grab & go (no customization needed), as well as pieces available to personalize and order.

Personalized orders will be shipped once completed or will be available for local pickup in Albany.

With the holidays just around the corner, these make such thoughtful & special gifts!

You may have noticed we have a new friend outside the shop! 🎪🐘

Today marks the start of the annual scarecrow fest.

We look forward to participating in the scarecrow contest each year. It’s such a fun and creative way to bring our community together.

This year’s theme was “Under the Big Top,” and Christi Flores brought our vision to life! She is so talented, and we love having her on the MG team! Our elephant and his little mouse were made from recycled materials, hand-dyed corn husks, & of course, plenty of straw.

A big thank you to City of Perry for putting on such a fun event and giving local businesses a chance to get creative!

We hope you love “Harold” as much as we do! 🐘🤍

MG II coming soon…

I am beyond excited to finally share that I’ll be opening a MG location on St. Simons Island!

St. Simons has always held a special place in my heart. I grew up vacationing on the island, and over the years, Adam and I have loved making it our second home, enjoying it with friends, family, and our two golden retrievers, Links & Como. Sourcing interesting and unexpected pieces has always been my greatest inspiration in design, and fueled my love for filling the shop. So, this expansion feels like a natural next chapter for MG.

For our Perry friends, we aren’t going anywhere! The Perry location will stay exactly where it is. I’ve never been one to want everything to be exactly the same, so naturally, these two stores won’t be either. Both boutiques will tell their own unique stories, each thoughtfully curated to evoke a sense of bespoke inspiration when you visit. I am so grateful for everyone who has supported Massey Gordon and helped us get to this moment.

SSI, we can’t wait to be a part of a community we have grown to know and love. It is truly such a special place. 🤍
