My role, for the past 17 years, has been turning your dream home into a reality.

Designing your vision, making it functional, buildable, and intentional; that is my fortè. The renderings are mine, but the inspiration is drawn entirely from your vision. Nobody does custom home designs in Utah like Timphaven Design, just ask our homeowners.

DMs are currently open for inquiries. Let’s get designing.

One thing I consider when choosing a backsplash is how much visual weight the rest of the kitchen already has. If the countertop has movement, the cabinetry is dark, or there are stronger architectural details nearby, sometimes the backsplash should simplify things.

Good design is less about adding every feature you like and more about knowing which ones should lead.

Trust the process… From custom home plans to the finished build, there’s nothing quite like watching a vision become reality.

One of the best compliments I can receive as a designer is, “You understood what we wanted.”

That’s always the goal. You bring me the ideas, priorities, and things you know you want from your home. My job is to listen closely, ask the right questions, and turn all of that into a custom home design that works.

Thank you for trusting me with your vision, Gene! I’d be delighted to work with you again in the future.

I have to ask… Would you request a window next to your bathtub? Yes or no?

When we designed this custom home in central Utah, the views naturally became part of the architecture. Luxury isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes, it’s knowing what not to block. With this design, that meant framing the surrounding mountain landscape wherever we could (yes, even in the primary bathroom).

The finishes matter, of course, but so does understanding the lot, the orientation of the home, where the natural light comes from, and what you want to experience when you’re actually living there.

That’s what custom home design should do: make the most of what’s already around you.

When every other house in Utah looks the same, consider building outside of the box with a custom home design. Save the copy-paste look for your neighbors.

It’s your house, your lifestyle, your ideas, your taste and your lot. Let your vision influence the final home.

If you’re looking for a custom home design in Utah that doesn’t look like everything else on the street… Let us cook 😌

From rendering to reality.

This is why we love what we do! A custom home starts as an idea, becomes a design, and eventually turns into the place you get to call home.

From the first concept to the finished build, we’re here to help bring the vision to life.

A 5-star review from a homeowner who trusted us with their dream home means a lot.

Miah S. shared:

“We had the pleasure of working with Tyson and Timp Haven Design to create our dream home, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! Their team demonstrated exceptional expertise and creativity, turning our ideas into a stunning reality. The attention to detail in the architecture and design is simply breathtaking, with every space thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.”

Thank you, Miah! Helping homeowners turn their ideas into a thoughtful, well-planned custom home is exactly why we do this.
