Last week, Anna from our Des Moines office and Ashley from our Sioux City office attended EDspaces in Kansas City.

This event brings together school and district leaders, designers, architects, and manufacturers around a common goal: creating physical environments that inspire learning and enable growth. We're grateful to have had FEH represented at this event as we explored how thoughtfully designed spaces can shape and enhance the student learning experience. 🧠💜

FEH Design is honored to receive the Outstanding Development: Adaptive Reuse Award at Dubuque Main Street's 2026 State of Main Awards!

This award recognizes projects that breathe new life into existing buildings while preserving their character, and we’re proud to see our new home at 902 Main Street in Dubuque recognized for doing just that.

Originally built in the early 1900s, the building suffered a fire in the 1960s that destroyed the upper two floors. While the building continued to house multiple tenants in the decades that followed, it sat vacant for approximately 10 years before its redevelopment. Over three years, the building was transformed into a 9,200-square-foot modern workplace, representing a significant reimagining of an important part of downtown Dubuque.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who played a role in bringing this vision to life, from the design team to our shareholders who believed in the project and saw it through, as well as the many local contractors, suppliers, and community partners who made it possible. 🎉💜

Let’s recap our Dubuque Office Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony! 🎉

It was a wonderful evening connecting with our team, community members, and everyone who helped bring this project to life. We loved celebrating all the hard work that went into transforming the space and kicking off an exciting new chapter for FEH in downtown Dubuque!

A huge thank-you to Jubeck Brewing and Yen Ching for helping us showcase great local businesses in our neighborhood. From pizza and b**r to egg rolls and rangoons, there was something for everyone to enjoy…it’s safe to say we didn’t have any leftovers! 🍕🍻🥡

And for those wondering about the matching vests in a couple of these photos: Kevin scored them from a tuxedo shop that was getting rid of them. ♻️ Who says a new office can’t come with a little vintage flair?

Thanks to everyone who made the trip to Dubuque and helped make this celebration such a success. We’re excited for what’s ahead! 🥂
