Welcome to Ellce Designs - Residential Interior Design for the Chicagoland area. After college I managed high end residential furniture showrooms in Chicago.

From the time I was little I wanted order, I liked change - making the space I lived in neat, balanced, and pretty. I found my passion in college after my first drafting class - organizing a space, creating good function by understanding scale and proportion. Opened Ellce Designs in 2000, taking on clients word of mouth while still managing a showroom but knowing that one day wanted to do it for my own business.

A little time away, a lot of inspiration. 🍂✨

Our Ellce Designs fall retreat took us to beautiful Saugatuck, Michigan, with a stay at the stunning Lakeshore Resort.

From breathtaking lake views and sunsets to the perfect dinner catered by Farmhouse Deli and an inspiring visit to Stoffer Home, it was a weekend filled with beautiful surroundings, great company, and fresh design inspiration. 🤎

I’m loving how the natural light pours in, softening every detail and bringing the whole room to life. The warm wood, quiet patterns, and beautiful glow make this dining space feel timeless, welcoming, and completely at ease.🤍

There’s something about a bedroom that feels calm before you even step inside.

Soft layers, warm neutrals and natural textures come together to create a space that feels quietly refined, comfortable and completely at ease. Proof that a neutral palette can still have plenty of depth. 🤎

It’s Friday, the temperatures are cooling down, and cozy corners are feeling especially inviting. 🍂 A tucked-away corner, a built-in banquette, a quiet spot for coffee or a good book. It’s often the smallest spaces that make a home feel the most lived in. 🤎

From inspiration → to design → to the spaces we imagine.

From mood boards to architectural drawings, layering materials, refining details, and watching the whole-home vision come together. 🤍
