Pump Station No. 4 on I-290 in Forest Park, Illinois, for the Illinois Department of Transportation. It sits just west of the Des Plaines River and was rebuilt to keep the expressway corridor from flooding.

We made the precast for it in Mount Pleasant. 53 insulated wall panels with thin brick inlaid and the cornice cast right into the panel, plus seven prestressed double tees for the roof. The brick and cornice came in the panel, so no separate masonry crew was needed on site.

Er****on ran May to June of 2022. IHC Construction was the general contractor.

The Leepfrog Technologies headquarters in Coralville, Iowa. We cast 33 spandrel panels for it, 9 inches thick and 6,000 square feet in all, faced with Endicott thin brick in Manganese Ironspot. The building took a Silver Award in the Commercial category at the 2017 ALA Design Awards.

Next time a match is on from St. Louis, take a look at the bowl. The stairs, risers, wall panels and beams under those seats came out of Mount Pleasant, more than 825 pieces, produced with AVAN Precast Concrete. The field sits 40 feet below the street, so every piece got in through an underground tunnel to a crane working down in the bowl.

Thanks to St. Louis CITY SC and the team that built it: HOK with Mortenson and Alberici Constructors and Keeley Construction Group with Kienlen Constructors setting the precast.

Walls are going up in New Florence, Missouri. Er****on started last week on the first of four buildings, with panels cast at our plant in Mount Pleasant. Three more to go.

Here is the yard in Mount Pleasant from the air. Everything down there was cast in the plant at the end of the video and is waiting on a truck to a job site.

We have a winner. Mandy Overton of K/O Architects entered the drawing at our booth at the AIA Iowa Annual Convention and is the new owner of a Blackstone Products griddle. Congratulations, Mandy, and thanks to everyone who stopped by.

Not a bad way to spend a Friday. Some of the MPC crew shot sporting clays today at the Because Brinkmann Cares Clay Shoot in Old Monroe, Missouri. The day raises money for Bridge Bread, R3 Development and the Gateway Down Syndrome Association. Thanks to Brinkmann Constructors for having us.

The DeKalb County Jail expansion in Sycamore, Illinois. Three stories, 83,000 square feet, and precast walls cast in Mount Pleasant. The tallest panel on the job is 57 feet 3 inches.

The Delmar Gardens office building in Chesterfield, Missouri is wrapped in 438 wall panels cast in Mount Pleasant. Crews set all 438 in 37 days. The 520 space parking garage beside it is ours too.
