This massive locust was only 10' from this 100-year-old house; its root system was starting to put pressure on the basement walls, and, of course, it was infested with carpenter ants.

It was planted too close to the house and was starting to shift the driveway!

Unfortunately, I'm temporarily out of commission due to a pretty significant wrist and hand injury that's left me unable to do much of anything with my hand, let alone climb trees.

I'm hoping a few days of rest and recovery will get me back to doing what I love, but until then, I'll have to put tree work and cat rescues on hold.

I've received several calls over the last two days about cats stuck in trees needing my help, and I sincerely apologize to those I've been unable to assist. Anyone who knows me knows how difficult it is for me to turn down an animal in need, but right now I'm physically unable to make those climbs safely.

I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while I get back on my feet. Hopefully, it won't be long before I'm back up in the trees where I belong!
