Education Day!

10/28/2026

It’s a birthday week at RoseBrooke! 🎉🥳

First up is the OG himself, Jack. He’s the man who started it all and still leads the way every single day. 👑

Then we’re celebrating two hardworking members of our crew, Yaret and Arael. These guys show up, put in the work, and make this team better every day.

Happy birthday, fellas! We’re lucky to have you. 🎈

Meet Zach — AKA “Dozer Daddy” 🚜

Zach is one of those show up, work hard, and get it DONE kinda guys. Give him a machine, some dirt, and a job to tackle, and he’s in his element.

He may have skipped the fun-fact portion of his employee spotlight 😂, but we do know a few things:

✔️ Hard worker
✔️ Gets stuff done
✔️ Not afraid to get dirty
✔️ Knows his way around some heavy equipment
✔️ Answers to “Dozer Daddy” whether he likes it or not 😂

We’re glad to have Zach as part of the RoseBrooke Site Development crew. If you see Dozer Daddy out moving dirt, give him a wave! 👋🚜

Before a single car parks at this new Lincoln dealership in Asheville, NC, the ground underneath it has to be engineered to handle everything above it.

That's our lane. RoseBrooke is handling the full site development on this project:

→ Complete site drainage system installed across the property
→ Drainage structures stacked and set to spec
→ A retaining wall running 238 feet long, reaching 20 feet at its tallest point
→ Full site grading to prep the pad for vertical construction

And we're not doing it in a vacuum — our crew is working in step with the building contractor so the site work and the structure move forward together instead of one waiting on the other.

Free tip if you're planning a commercial project: ask your site contractor how they coordinate with the building team before work starts. On a commercial timeline, the most expensive delays usually aren't weather or materials — they're two crews working off two different schedules. When site development and vertical construction are sequenced as one plan, the pad is ready the day the builders need it, not weeks after.

Got a commercial site that needs drainage, grading, or excavation done right? Reach out to RoseBrooke Site Development and let's talk through your project.

The number one thing that stops people from building a backyard pond isn’t the space or the upkeep. It’s the assumption that it’s going to cost a fortune.

So they put it off. They look out at the same empty corner of the yard for years, picturing what could be there, and never actually find out what it would take.

Here’s the honest breakdown:

→ A small water feature — the kind that adds the sound of moving water and a focal point to your yard — starts around $5,000.
→ A full pond build like this one — 2,500 gallons with multiple waterfalls — typically lands somewhere between $20K and $30K depending on size, rock work, and equipment.

The range is wide because every pond is built to the yard it lives in. Slope, access, how big you want it, how much waterfall, what kind of filtration — all of it moves the number. Which is exactly why guessing off a blog post or a friend’s project usually leaves you with the wrong idea.

The easier path: answer a few quick questions about your space and what you’re picturing, and get a free estimate built around your actual yard — no guesswork, no pressure.
