What’s up friends?! We are currently on the hunt for the perfect stone for our kitchen and scullery! Green is going to play a major role throughout this home, and we want our countertops to tie in perfectly while still making a statement of their own. We’ve narrowed it down to a few favorites, but we want to hear from you!

Which one are you choosing? Tell us below! 👇🏼🤍

What’s up, Mobile?!

We’ve grown up a little since our last group pics, so cheers to our team— a little older, wiser, and with quite a few renovations behind us as we near the end of 2026.

Currently, we have three incredible projects in the works, more in the queue, and so much we can’t wait to share. We’ve been busy designing, restoring, creating, and dreaming up what’s next for 1818 Design.

Grateful for the people, the houses, and the city that keeps us inspired.

We love you so much, Mobile, AL! And we thank you for loving us and keeping up with us along the way.🤎

Tile update from our 13 Audubon Place project ✨

We’re loving this honed artisan tile in the softest shade of green. For the second-floor hall bath, we’re carrying that tone throughout the space with a monochromatic palette that feels layered, timeless, and intentional.

Paired with a beautiful natural stone floor tile, every finish was selected with texture, quality, and longevity in mind. It’s the kind of detail that makes a space feel thoughtfully designed from the ground up.

We can’t wait to see this one come together.

If you only knew how long it takes us to get a video up… You would be completely beside yourself. 😂😂 Being a millennial is hard when you’re trying to create quality content and your social media career started on MySpace. Any Gen Zs looking to lend a hand?

But on a serious note, I’m editing an update video for 104 Mohawk now. This was just too good to not share! Happy Wednesday, love yall!

Hour by hour: Day in the Life — BRO EDITION. 😂

Our guys definitely know how to fill a day—job sites, projects, meetings, running around town, and somehow still making time for what matters most: family. 🤍 We’re pretty thankful for these two!

Full disclosure though… this “day in the life” is actually a compilation of approximately three days because remembering to take a picture every hour was apparently a VERY ambitious assignment for the bros. 😂😂

They did their best. We did our best. You get the idea. 😂

Our guys are pretty spot on! Well, except for one of them 👀👀 Stefan Rel

A little peek at the upstairs primary bathroom at 13 Audubon Place. ✨

We’re pairing these gorgeous tile selections with deep blue walls to create a space that feels moody, relaxing, and just a little dramatic. This bathroom is going to be a beauty.

Come tour the downstairs primary suite at 307 N. Jackson Street with me! 🤍

One of the biggest goals with this 1860 home has been creating a layout that works beautifully for modern living while still honoring everything that makes this house so special.

The first-floor primary suite will feature a spacious bedroom, private ensuite bathroom, 2 large closets and will overlook the gallery porch — all tucked into one of my favorite parts of the home.

It’s still very much a work in progress, but you can finally start to see this space taking shape. Come take a look! ✨

A little addition update at 104 Mohawk Street!

It may not be the biggest space— sitting at only 260 sq ft— but man is that 260 sq Ft going to change someone’s life one day! Haha

We’re taking the laundry from under the stairs and adding a designated laundry room, adding a full guest bathroom downstairs, a gorgeous butler’s pantry with alllll kinds of storage, and redirecting the stairs to provide a significantly larger primary suite.

She’s coming together, and we couldn’t be happier with what we are seeing! She’s finally starting to feel like the plans we have had for her.

What do you want to see next— a detailed video of the plans for the butler pantry build out or the primary suite? Drop it in the comments!
