Leaves are falling 🍂 and that's a good reminder about water.

During inspections we pay close attention to how water moves around a home:
• Gutters clogged or pulling away?
• Downspouts dumping right at the foundation?
• Soil sloping toward the house instead of away?

GFCI Outlet /JEE-eff-see-eye OUT-let/

A ground-fault circuit interrupter outlet cuts power in a split second when it senses current leaking where it shouldn't, like through water or a person. You'll usually find them in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, laundry areas, and outdoors.

On inspection day we test them. Missing or non-working GFCIs are among the most common safety items we write up in Georgia homes.
