A true story about the last of the green beans harvested this season. 🫛💚

Kingston called and asked if he could come see me for 30 minutes. Now, I’m thinking, why 30 minutes? 😂

Turns out, he was out of school for the day and needed to go home and take a nap before karate.

Once he got here, we headed to our favorite place… the garden! 🌱 Our mission was to check on the carrots and garlic we planted last week. Nothing had sprouted yet, so we started looking around.

That’s when he spotted them… the last of the green beans! He looked at me and said, “We need to get them and cook them.” 🫛❤️

So, we picked the green beans, and just like that, our 30-minute visit was complete. And, I get to have green beans for dinner.

Moral of the story? Sometimes, the best moments in life aren’t planned. They’re found in a garden, in a handful of green beans, and in the precious little moments we get to spend with the ones we love. ❤️
