Decorative flake: chips are broadcast into the coating for texture and traction, and they help hide dirt and imperfections. A favorite for garages and workshops.
Solid color: a clean, uniform look that is easy to keep tidy. Works well in garages and basements.
Metallic: special pigments create a one of a kind, three dimensional, high gloss look, like the floor in this shop. Popular in commercial spaces, basements, home offices and entertainment rooms.

A new coating is only as good as the concrete under it. Cracks, pitting and peeling old coatings do not disappear under a new floor, so we repair the cracks and remove failing material before anything goes down. That way the prep is done right and the new system goes onto sound concrete.

Epoxy or polyaspartic? It is one of the most common questions we get. Our installers specialize in both, and the honest answer is that a good floor system can use different materials for different jobs. Polyaspartic, for example, can be used as a protective topcoat.

Instead of choosing a buzzword, ask about the whole system: how the concrete will be prepped, how cracks are handled, what layers go down and how long it needs to cure. We are always happy to explain what we recommend for your floor and why.

One of the best parts of a coated garage floor is how easy it is to look after. A few simple habits go a long way:

Sweep with a soft bristle broom or dust mop when it starts looking dirty.
Wipe up oil and other spills when you notice them.
Wash with warm water and a mild cleaner, then rinse.
Skip steel wool, wire brushes and harsh chemicals.
Lift heavy items instead of dragging them.

Once snow, slush and road salt start coming in, wash the grime off every so often instead of waiting until spring. And always follow your installer's care instructions.

Next-level detail for a local favorite! 🧖‍♂️✨

We had a blast working on this fun little project for our friends over at Hush Spa in Southington!

The challenge here was the steam room concrete—it wasn't properly pitched to the drain, which is a recipe for standing water. Before doing anything else, the concrete was properly re-pitched the floor to ensure flawless drainage.

Once the foundation was dialed in, we installed our signature commercial-grade system:
