Proudly providing VA, DC and MD with Locally Manufactured & Installed Windows for more than 45 Years!

In the mid-fifties, James Bouchery, took over his father's window installation business and in 1978 founded a new company under its present name of Vinyl-Lite Window Factory. For more than seventy-five years, the Bouchery family has been dedicated to the window and door industry. To date we have manufactured and installed over 530,000 windows in the metro area. In working with Vinyl-Lite, you will find you are dealing with a family, whose principles and values are the same as those in every strong family unit. There is an atmosphere of unity and cooperation, which resonates throughout every single employee. It is a factor often overlooked, however we never underestimate its value in elevating the quality of products produced at Vinyl-Lite Window Factory.

💙💚 48 Years. One Local Factory. A Whole Lot of Windows. 🪟

Vinyl-Lite opened its doors in 1978, and a lot has changed since then.

Window styles have changed. Technology has changed. Homes throughout Northern Virginia have changed.

But some things haven't.

We're still a family-owned and operated business.
We're still manufacturing windows right here in Lorton, Virginia.
And we're still grateful every time a homeowner chooses our family business for their home.

For 48 years, our windows have become part of homes throughout the communities we live and work in.

That's something we're pretty proud of.

Here's to the windows we've built, the families we've met, and all the views still ahead. 🏡

🍂 THIS OR THAT: Fall Edition!

We spend plenty of time talking about windows, so today we're curious about the view on the other side of them. 😄

Which fall view would you rather see outside your window?

🍁 A: A backyard filled with colorful fall trees
🌲 B: A peaceful wooded view with leaves covering the ground

We're not making you choose between pumpkin spice and apple c***r. We're not monsters. 😂

A or B? Tell us in the comments! 👇

Whether your style is traditional, modern or somewhere comfortably in between, sometimes a new view starts before you even reach the windows. 😉

🍂 Your Fall Window Checklist

Cooler weather is settling into Northern Virginia, which makes October a great time to give your windows a little attention before winter.

A few simple things to check:

🍁 Check that your windows open and close smoothly.
🧹 Clean dirt and debris from tracks and sills.
🔒 Close and lock your windows when you're finished using them. Vinyl-Lite windows are happiest and at their best in the closed and locked position!
💧 Watch for condensation. Moisture on your windows can be a sign that the humidity level inside your home is high.
👀 Pay attention to comfort. Notice rooms that feel unusually drafty or uncomfortable as temperatures begin to drop.

A little fall window TLC now can help you head into colder weather knowing what may need attention.

And remember...

Happy windows are locked windows. 😉🪟

🪟 WINDOW MYTH vs. FACT

❌ MYTH: You have to wait until spring to replace your windows.

✅ FACT: Cooler weather doesn't automatically mean your window project has to wait!

Our professional installation crews work efficiently, replacing windows one opening at a time and keeping disruption to your home to a minimum.

So if your windows are drafty, difficult to operate, or simply ready for an upgrade, you don't have to spend another winter wishing you'd replaced them sooner. 🍂
